I am making a bonfire cake for someone and want it as accurate as possible. IMy question is why does the outhouse have "t.u. frat house" painted on it instead of "u.t."?

that university in austin is "t.u." The University of Tennessee, our new conference mate, is and always has been UT. This is not unique to Bonfire, but rather an Aggie thing. It's worth mentioning that the outhouse matches the opponent for the Bonfire game. This year, it was Mizzou.

Also, when making a groom's cake outhouse, it is a gesture of good luck to glue small glamour shots or yearbook photos of the bride to the interior walls of the outhouse. In keeping with the groom's cake tradition, the photos should not be visible. They are a "secret."

To expand a little on this, they should cover a wide range outfits/landscapes. The more variety, the better.

Also, if you can find out what outfit/crew they were in, it's pretty awesome to sneak the crew's symbol in, if you can. Judging by your handle, might I suggest Appelt Hall (green double bit axes on a white background) or Crocker Hall (think angry Brewster Rooster)?
