One of my favorites that wasn't really a tradition outside of about 6 Moore guys was loading up raw eggs from the Sbisa cook yourself line, taking them to Walton, and egging their coat of arms. I was taught that on my third day in Aggieland.

Sbisa Yell was great. You basically had to eat in 10 minutes and watch for flying items. Lots of dorm yells but you only heard the first 2 seconds of each of them. Lots of hammering your treys on the table. Then you would grode your crew afterward.

there are plenty of things that would never make it into cushing... are there any references to Battfish?
Are there any photographs of the building from the 1930s?
I was on Traditions Council and we found clippings of it being polished.
From what I understand they stopped doing it after the shooting at tu from their bell tower. But i could be wrong.. Discuss..

Not sure I see the connection between the tu sniper and it being a reason to stop polishing the tower. Just wondering if there's an explanation for that.
Grode wars between dorms. Specifically in the green space between DG, Moore, and Moses.
you used to be able to go to the top of academic building but after the shooting they stopped that and stopped shining it. thats what I was told by an admin in stuact. not sure how true it is

One tradition that I think we have sort of lost sight of recently is the 12th man. Not the students at games, but the actual 12th Man on the team. Students dont realize that he represents the student body on the field as a walk on. I remember watching games when I was little, and when the 12th Man made the tackle on the kickoff the entire student section would go crazy!
I dont know who, but someone (probably yell leaders at yell and/or fish camp) needs to explain this to our students. I'd love to hear the crowd noise go to the next level when #12 makes the tackle on a kickoff!

Sad part. Fewer and fewer k ow what it is to be an Aggie. I was in the corps but all the north gate dorms. Crocker Walton etc. were red ass they were AGGIES. Embraced ATM and its traditions. Most importantly were AGGIES
I know I embrace the traditions as much as I can. People seem pleasantly surprised to hear "Howdy" and respond to it. They should be taking the initiative in the first place.
