Just caught the pictures on studentbonfire.com this morning and I have to say, its looking good. Congrats to all of you getting to work on it this year. I hope (and I know) you're all having the times of your life. Make sure, in all of the work, you're taking the time to grode someone in some cow ****. Those are the things you'll remember. And take a bunch of pictures to show your kids. I still keep mine as a slideshow on my laptop and I can't tell you how many times people have asked about Bonfire and said how freakin cool it is. Good luck with everything... wish I could make it down with yall.

and by the way, what's the height this year? Around 55'-60'?

roughly (i cant remember the exact height)

The centerpole is 49 feet out of the ground which is the most it should ever be. The tallest logs reach around 70% up the centerpole. Plus the height of the outhouse, this year's Bonfire will be 45 to 48 feet tall. This is about the maximum it can go because it is hard finding really tall logs.
