As for Moore Hall, we are in contact with old chiefs and yellows going through the 90s and even into the 80s. We are on friendly terms with most all of them, we even have a dorm reunion coming up next semester. Regarding lines, my dads came to the conclusion along with pre-99 guys that this is a new begining. We have started new lines and probably won't seem our lines with the old. We feel this is best and most respectable for both parties.

Im in C-2 and we are having trouble getting our old butt pot. Its a very touching thing as Nathan Scott West was a cock. Our Butt made a new pot but are still trying to get our old one. I know there are several bqs with there and some CTs. The commandant makes it hard for us to go out. I was signed out to go to the evans tonight but was a stack. We may not be able to see it burn because they schedule corps brass weekend on the same weekend on purpose. The general is worthless.

IMHO, I think that GVA has good intentions but doesn't stand up when the mandate's handed down.

Either that or he's an entirely 2-faced.

Wouldn't put it past him.

OCA, the Off-Campus reps have passed lines and direct contact with their old Yellows (I think Cokeman is what, '92?).
While today's OC Hogs continue to be in direct contact with multiple dead yellows and chiefs from the original line, the new Yellow line was not passed from the old. I'm not trying to nitpick, I just think the old line deserves the respect of that clarification.

Edit: Should've read the whole thing first. What DYG said.

I knew the Yellow line hadn't been passed, but had thought the other lines had been. That's my mistake, as I was misinformed.

There were no other OCA lines. For Off Campus, each year's yellow pot determines how many chiefs are needed for the next year and who they are with the authority to appoint them mid-season if the need arises.

This is NOT Bonfire.

It is not University sanctioned, therefore it is NOT Bonfire.

End of statement....and sorry for those of you who have not experienced the real thing.

Steve,

From what I understand, the same heart is poured forth which is what made Aggie Bonfire what it was/is.

IMHO, the University's approval has nothing to do with the authenticity of the meaning of Bonfire.

I respect your opinion and I wish that you might reconsider and I invite you to come out. If not tomorrow... next year. Come to cut. Come to stack. See what we're about before you make a full opinion on it.

GVA is a useless POS.

It will be a good day for the corps when that day duck decides that he is only hurting the corps and goes far far away never to be heard from again.

He is the most 2 faced person you will ever meet.

Do you agree then that all instances of Aggie Bonfire prior to the late 1930's were not Bonfire?
