So I was moving my desk from one room to another in my house and i open the door where the Computer would go but there's nothing there since I have a laptop on that desk, and I find a 1991 Bonfire VHS tape, I have no idea how it got there or who brought it in.

Anyway, just wanted to share that it was great seeing things how they used to be back in the day. JRP's running around, Walton's dorm log was f-in huge and it was nice to see a real dorm log loaded, the crocker chiefs were interviewed and they all had their budweiser shirts, seeing Sr Reds ride center pole to stack.....well you guys get the picture. It was also nice to see things that if we did today the green pots would s**t their pants, so much for having fun.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Walton91, were you a yellow this year?

A guy named PeeWee was yellow in Walton that year. Great guy.

If I remember things correctly that line's history was:

Thanks for the replies, I really didn't know who was the yellow that year since I only know my line and vaguely remember my brothers' lines having to hear them say it so many times.

Mike "Junebug" Holter was the last Jr. Climber. After the CT Climber lost his pot (grades?) they turned Mike's pot into a Sr. Red position . . . so he was a Jr. Climber/Sr. Red.

I made it to a game last year and hardly recognized the place. When the hell did College Station get a night life? Blocked-off streets? People dressed up to go out? I was completely lost.

No plans to head to a game this year, but now that Hutch is back at Christopher's the wife and I may head that way for dinner one evening.

Holter's younger brother, Andrew, was my roommate for a year. I had a few drinks w/Holter out at ngate a couple years back. Fun times.

And even though I'm not nearly the year you are my freshman year it was normal for us to go out and not dress up. I hate going out now because of the reasons you mentioned kip, oh and all the frat daddy bs.

Well if you are ever in town, or any walton alumni for that matter, make sure to let me know and maybe we can meet up and share stories and teach the kids a thing or two.

Don't forget David Yeates who was Walton and took the "Climber Pot" as a Sr Red C/O '00.

That was a good Bonfire... I remember PeeWee..

Lived in Walton all of 95, 96, and spring 97. F-ramp 2nd floor. Those were the days. Cheapest dorms on campus, but the best in my opinion. The guys across from us built a 4-man loft in one room while turning the other into an entertainment center of sorts.
