By comparing it to discussing sex with the newly pubescent, calling it "alive in a new way"

Definitely glad Cdl Radcliffe got the red hat (even though he decided not to wear it)

The Franciscans seem to be catching up to the Jesuits in the "who should be suppressed first" game.

That's what we all need to know, how to touch our imagination. What a bunch of garbage. How about just teaching the Salvation of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Having lived through the '80's as a Catholic, I don't want anymore "Cum Ba Yah". No thanks. Teach the Deposit of Faith to begin with!

Radcliffe is a Dominican and an incredible preacher. Former Master General of the Order. He was one of the preachers during the Synod and had some excellent insight.

ETA: make that Spiritual Director.

The parsing of words Mr. Haynes choose to frame Crdl. Radcliffe's analogy was for click bait no doubt. He left out the real reason of why he made that comparison- it really is something you better understand by living it. Talking about it can be confusing. He takes his own example about being told about the birds and bees, but thinking it was a story about Winston Churchill. Worth listening to in its entirety, IMO.
