Author Philip Yancey Confesses Affair, Withdraws from Ministry - Christianity Today

I'd acquired a few of his books over the years but hadn't read them. Humans are fallen people, aren't they. I just started reading the Bible again for the year, and if Abraham and Jacob are heroes, I suppose I can expect God's grace for Philip Yancey.

I once met the late J. Oswald Sanders at A&M, just months before he died. In corporate prayer, at 90 years old, he asked God "to not let him become a dirty old man."
