The Good Friday movie choice will always be The Passion, but for Holy Saturday, I want to recommend one that I just saw and really enjoyed: Calvary with Brendon Gleason.

It is one of the best allegories of the stations of the cross, and illustrates the difference between "innocence" and "grace" better than I've seen.

The acting is absolutely marvelous, the role of Gleason's lifetime. The film is definitely R as there are some EXTREMELY GRAPHIC discussions which I would not want to watch with my mother.

Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts
