Apparently the massive explosion of converts to Catholicism is a major cause of concern, especially among those who have been trying to push for more acceptance of those on the margins.

Oh... the article makes sense given this bit about the author. A seamless garment type... where neglecting the corporal works of mercy is at the same level of killing your own child. Kyrie Eleison.

Matt Fradd is not so overtly extremist as Fuentes, yet he platforms people like Timothy Gordon and Mike Pantile who prod viewers toward archaic views of gender roles and traditionalist Catholicism at odds with Church teaching. Influencers with these views do not only target men. An entire online subculture for "tradwives" aims to tell young women how to align themselves to this worldview based on traditionalist Catholicism.

I love how gender roles that have persisted for thousands of years and only started being questioned five minutes ago are now "archaic."

Jesuits are special. All types of orders, all types of charisms.

Showing mercy to the socially approved margins, vigorous nuance applied to all socially approved sin/weakness, ruthlessly condemning any vestige of orthodoxy.

The same people who will smile at a bone nosed Amerindian shaman worshipping a Mother Earth spirit will rip out an altar rail and discipline a priest for using Latin.

Their charism seems to be sowing confusion

Altar rails are not required since the update, Built of Living Stones (c.2000). Not a Jesuit publication.

Pope Francis (a Jesuit) has spoken Latin on occasion. Maybe you are referring to the use of the 1962 Missal? The magisterium (not all Jesuits) have already weighed in on that subject. I don't think it will change much under the new Pope, but you never know.
