This story is complete Bullcrap and the liar needs to be thoroughly investigated and charged for inciting racial hate or whatever the eff they would come up with if the liar were a white person.

Yeah it seems this is a fake story. This guy's career should be ruined and he should be held accountable. Just a disgusting thing to do.
People like him are the worst. Every time someone cries wolf about assault in a position of power (in this case a celebrity), it takes away the attention paid to people who really are assaulted.
Just scum.
Welcome to the Dark side...
Well said. For example, when something like the Oak Lawn incidents happen, this kind of fraud probably leads to that having a too-hasty dismissal.BallerStaf2003 said:

There's nothing hard about being a white person. Nothing.annie88 said:
White people don't constantly whine about how hard it is to be white. Except self loathing liberals. Other people of color and the same self loathing liberals whine about how much privilege whites supposedly have, which we don't. Very distinct point.
`Racist' is just the Left word for `Infidel'. If not one of the sect, don't let it bug you. Not caring is as good a response as any.Urban Ag said:There's nothing hard about being a white person. Nothing.annie88 said:

What white people (excluding beta libs and feministas) actually whine about is the non stop barrage of being told you're a racist, homophobe, bigot, Nazi, fascist, backwards, redneck, cretin, if you don't embrace and celebrate socialism, open borders, unfettered immigration, chopping your wang off, and environmental theology.
It just wears you out.
Until you reach the point of not caring.
This guy is either a pathological liar or certifiably insane and should be placed in a mental institution but only after he is processed into Illinois state prison for a minimum of two years.DallasAg 94 said:

Instead, here's a more reliable rule of thumb---the higher in prominence, like a celebrity, the less likely to have been quite as described. Too many hidden agenda stakes.
This should not lead to dismissal of real cases of bigoted violence.
It was obvious from the beginning to any objective person that this was all fake. It checked too many stereotypical boxes. This guy is a liar and an unhinged idiot.BallerStaf2003 said:Rendered Fat said:

I said from the very beginning I'm withholding judgment
Well as said on another thread, that DID happen. It made the talk of the Trade Center and Infomart at the time. For a while more conceal-and-carry was going on. (The more sober and understated--yes, professional toned gays have a fair amount of involvement in Interior Design and home furnishings -- so events like that make it into the mainstream talk there.)BallerStaf2003 said:titan said:Well said. Exactly. I knew three people (one well, two not so well) that got REALLY messed up in those attacks. It's messed up that when stuff like this really does happen, we are so desensitized to it thst we don't take it seriously.
That's what I meant when I said "a sign of the times" that was so heavily criticized and taken out of context.
It is not confirmation bias when something so astronomically improbable is disproven.BallerStaf2003 said:
There are crazy, seemingly unbelievable things that happen all the time. I won't rule anything out on either side until I see or hear evidence.
I feel to do otherwise shows a confirmation bias that has resulted in the polarized politics of our day.
Why is it so hard to admit that we are in the midst of an avalanche of false hate crimes?BallerStaf2003 said:
Yeah for some reason posters on that thread wanted to argue with me the validity of those claims as well. I posted the article that stated almost two dozen were reported and many sent to the hospital, but the article stated 30 and then they wanted to argue the 30 because thirty didn't file a police report.
Why is it so hard to admit that gays are often the target of assault?
uh no... again.BallerStaf2003 said:

The liars are who you should be angry with, not the doubters.
And it was an activist group that came up with the 30 number. Shouldn't we verify anything any activist group claims?
In this situation, though, I'm with Baller.CanyonAg77 said:Why is it so hard to admit that we are in the midst of an avalanche of false hate crimes?BallerStaf2003 said:

That is reasonable enough, and easily affirmed.BallerStaf2003 said:CanyonAg77 said:Why is it so hard to admit that we are in the midst of an avalanche of false hate crimes?BallerStaf2003 said:

Well, sure there's a bunch of liars out there but I was being called a liar or an exaggerator for stating that these attacks happened in Dallas. Like posters here can't sdmit that these crimes ever happen st all.
Then I provide proof, and they want to nitpick at the claim of 30 because only like 20 reported to police.
Just not sure why it can't be accepted that although often it's fake, these crimes do happen.
