Book author coward should have said this during the impeachment instead of trying to sell books. This is unforgivable.

Welcome to the impeachment thread. He wasn't worried about how Zelensky would spend the money. Trump saw an opportunity to exploit a political neophyte, Zelensky was prepping to go on CNN to deliver the quo.

Then Trump got caught, Zelensky cancelled the interview, we released the aid anyway. It'll all be in Bolton's book if you don't believe the other 17 witnesses.

Mushroom stamped. Again.

John Bolton doesn't just like killing brown people in the ME, he enjoys killing the fantasies of liberals all over the United States.

Shocking that Adam Schiff built a case entirely on speculation.

LOL there are still people that think Trump didn't do it?

Learn this phase: "Doesn't rise to the level of impeachment". It's the only defense left that isn't insane or willfully blind. Trump continues to lie about it which is a problem, but he's made everybody used to it by now.

Mulvaney would have been in the house bunker giving a deposition in September if it would have allowed Trump to avoid impeachment.

No, the next move was for the President's refusal under Executive Privilege to allow Mulvaney to testify to be ruled on by SCOTUS. Schiff and Pelosi were not about to let the Judicial branch perform their critical function as a check and balance on the other two branches because they knew with absolute certainly that POTUS' assertion of Executive Privilege would be sustained. The impeachment happened purely as theater to be covered with dramatic effect by the Democrat toadie news media.

There was always going to be an impeachment because it served to slow the President and impede his effectiveness. Even if the chances of conviction were nearly zero the Democrats had to do it because any longshot is worth taking if it might prevent the landslide defeat and down ticket carnage that is going to happen in November.

Trump seems to have lost interest in Ukrainian corruption now that Biden is tanking. It's really weird.

What's really weird is how hard Democrats fought prosecute Trump for showing in interest in investigating Ukrainian corruption.

We already know Biden and his son were on the take. What else do we need to know? Hopefully they are prosecuted after the election is over and it can no longer be dismissed as election interference.

No, it seems that the Democrats have lost interest in Trump and the Ukraine since Biden is tanking and are now in a panic mode that Bernie is leading.

The joke have always been on the Democrats for they have made fools of themselves

You gotta stop reading Qanon/4Chan Trumpy bro. None of that is happening. Giuliani took half a mil from a Russian mobster, he's the only major player in this story facing jail time not counting the 2 Trump associate mooks that were already arrested.

Every word 100% true.

Quote:

Federal prosecutors advanced Giuliani-linked probe as impeachment concluded.

The recent moves to advance the probe, which included an interview with a witness last week, suggest the Giuliani-linked investigation that is also focused on two of the lawyer's former associates is advancing

I read neither and I'm not the one chasing wild ass conspiracy theories that keep being proven wrong.

There really are no words to describe how stupid one must be to believe the Biden's were clean. That's not even an argument you hear from many of the morons on the left. If they are dirty (which we know they are), every argument about the Illegitimatacy of the investigation falls apart.

You literally have zero idea what may or may not being investigated/prosecuted.

We have a pretty good idea based on his Twitter feed and public comments from the AG. Giuliani is facing federal indictment while Biden is not.

You guys.... this sounds weird but hear me out. What if...... what if Trump doesn't really care about corruption?

Quote:

Shortly after taking office, President Donald Trump grumbled to his secretary of state about a decades-old US law that bars American companies from bribing foreign officials and pledged to repeal it which, incidentally, would make it easier for his company to get lucrative contracts abroad.

Trump and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson tussled over the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977. That law, according to the Justice Department, makes it "unlawful for certain classes of persons and entities to make payments to foreign government officials to assist in obtaining or retaining business."

"It's just so unfair that American companies aren't allowed to pay bribes to get business overseas," Trump reportedly told Tillerson. "We're going to change that."
