The gov't has no place "caring" for it's citizens such as providing "free" anything. Citizens should be entirely self sufficient with few exceptions.

I'm Catholic.

Here's one from a fictional constitution: No re-election for the President or Chief Executive. A fixed term of six (or if you prefer eight) years. They basically run on what they are going to do (Trump a classic example) . If elected, they set to it.

For example, right now, you wouldn't have all this 24/7 lying trying to flip an election either way for both sides. Trump would have another two or four years ahead. Longer views would have to be taken, more would get done.

Closely related, is the office would have a small budget of their own to allocate. A public fulfillment fund if you will, a way to deliver on some things promised.

I don't have to have an opinion about abortion.

If your kid is on the hot lunch program at school you should not be able to have more kids.

Men and women are different and need each other to live a rewarding life.

I Don't hate poor people. My uncle was homeless for a while because he wanted to make a better life for his family. He quit his job picking cotton and made his way to a big city where there was opportunity. He lived in his car for over a year until he had enough money to buy a house. He made a better life for his family and didn't expect anything from the government to make it happen.

Later on when he saw people that needed help he took them in or helped them. Not because he was rich, he wasn't, but because he had more than those he was helping. That is the American Dream.

Government handouts teach people to vote for people that will give them more handouts instead of voting for people that will give them a future.
