That works out to a little over $20K per scientist. We are talking about doctors here correct? I'm having a hard time buying they would set aside their ethics for such a small amount.

I just posted it on there.

As a doctor, this makes me furious. And never underestimate greed and the love of money.

And I am extremely disappointed in myself for taking the first two vaxes and one booster. I usually am more discerning than that. My daughter and my derm partner stood firm and took no vaxes and got pissed at me when I did. I rationalized it because I was 65 y/o. I was a poosay and bought in to the bs.

Good on you Derm! As an engineer, I hate what's happened to trust in science and healthcare. I took the first and a booster as well but stopped after wife had the kind of complications that we've all now read about.

Humility and the acknowledgment that we don't in fact know everything goes a long way in my book, but it's an area where unfortunately both of our professions need to see major improvement.

I would also add, that the institutions that you long trusted and respected failed you, just as they did me and the rest of the word. We were naive and we were deceived.

I was in academic medicine for years and never dreamed there were docs and organizations like this. Anyone who talked about money in our circle was basically ostracized. It was all about patient care.

I was a dumass. Pisses me off.

What confuses me is why so many people believed the lies. Faucci admitted he lied about masks very early on. Had zero credibility after that and everyone should have seen the BS for what it was. After 3-4 weeks it was all very obvious that it was a political hit job in a re-election year. The evidence was all there for anyone willing to see it.
