One hundred and five page thread over basically yet another nothing burger. A lot of dumb takes in this thread.
Lots of people wanting to pin something, anything on DJT to justify their hate and full-fledged TDS.

They ignored the law, the US Constitution, the PRA, the role of NARA and then ignored the facts they didn't like.

Truly amazing to go through the first pages. To your credit Hawg, you based your take on the law and previous cases. Appreciate your input as always.

His biggest risk was also correctly pointed out by you and others would have been the "obstruction" charges, though if Jack Smith had focused on that I think we ultimately would have seen a SCOTUS case on whether you can be guilty of obstruction of justice for a case being investigated under false pretenses.

To me, that is something for Bondi to address down the road. Procedural crimes when the prosecutor cannot prove the underlying crime. Trump's NYC conviction gets at that a bit.

Many a lib still repeat the same talking points about all the crimes Trump committed, they are cult members who can't be de-programmed.

Not a bit, weren't they completely procedural crimes covering up non-crimes that none of us know about?

As it has turned out, I was correct on a s*** ton of the legal lawfare over many years now. Those posters who attacked me and also frequently had me banned for simply laughing at them, have disappeared.

Sooo

So so corrupt. Just to get one man.

Some folks knew this about 3-4 days after the "FBI raids Mar-a-Lago".

And it wasn't inside info, it was simple common sense, you know what I mean?

I would check the boxes for excrement, piss and other body fluids "deposited" by FBI investigators.

Seeing the maturity of the Obamabiden's FBI I would assume all the Time magazine covers have Trump with a Hitler mustache and that his golf hats have been ruined.

Dems are the worst about being petty and stupid.

I don't recall Smith's indictment of Trump over Jan 6th containing verbatim bombshells, else Smith would have added a seditious conspiracy charge.

Am I misremembering?

Of course Carr and Bratt are both heinous liars, but they are villains who perceive themselves as heroes. Comey is their comrade.

They'll violate any laws to advance their political agenda.

"This administration and its proxies have made no effort to hide their willingness to weaponize the machinery of government against those they perceive as political enemies. That should alarm every American who believes in the rule of law. In light of these undeniable and deeply troubling circumstances, Mr. Bratt had no choice but to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights."
Uhmm, not the way that works.

So "because we do not like the prosecution and believe them to be political enemies, we cannot tell the truth about whether we tried to prosecute our political enemies"... did I get that right?

People in an uproar for Trump cracking down on murder, armed robberies, assault and carjackings in DC… meanwhile people quickly forget Jan 6ers were mostly charged with a Sarbanes Oxley law designed to keep companies from shredding dockaments (nod to Hank from Georgia).

Same sort of people that say it's a witch hunt to expose actual mortgage fraud but Trump is a 37 time convicted felon for recording a payment for a legal agreement as "legal expense" on his personal checkbook.

One thing we do know about Jack Smith by now is that he isn't particularly smart. Judge Cannon was correct when she threw out that indictment in Florida.

Further proof Jack Smith is an idiot:

Quote:

Jack Smith, who led the attempts to prosecute and imprison President Trump in the run-up to the 2024 election over his efforts to challenge the voter fraud that took place in the 2020 presidential election, said he wants to appear "in open hearings" to share his side of the story.

In a letter from his attorneys, he pledged to address the "numerous mischaracterizations" surrounding his investigations, which were designed to prevent Trump from taking back the presidency.

Letter states in part:
Quote:

Given the many mischaracterizationsof Mr. Smith's investigation into President Trump's alleged mishandling of classified document sand role in attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Mr. Smith respectfully requests the opportunity to testify in open hearings before the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.

During the investigation of President Trump, Mr. Smith steadfastly adhered to establishedlegal standards and Department of Justice guidelines, consistent with his approach throughouthis career as a dedicated public servant.

He is prepared to answer questions about the Special Counsel's investigation and prosecution, but requires assurance from the Department of Justicethat he will not be punished for doing so.

Does not work that way, homeboy. LOL.
