I'll concede your point if we can still say the same a year from now. Until then, I would think it unwise to count out any future IDF response.

And? It's been up to Israel the whole time. They aren't asking for permission. All Trump did was set a red line and leave it up to someone else to enforce when it inevitably got ignored. Might as well have said, "You'd better do what I say or my brother is gonna beat you up!"
And back to the point, Trump isn't getting involved. Maybe airstrikes or something from a distance eventually, but I don't think we see boots on the ground or anything serious unless and until a bunch of Americans get killed.
Well I would enjoy seeing a few MOABs dropped in Gaza, TLAMs on hiding hama/hezbollah leadership wherever they hide, and a few hundred JDAMs dropped on Cartel Gangbangers all in the same hour….maybe mix in a few pred/reapor drone strikes to mix it up.
