I agree. He thinks that he's justified.

But his text also betray that he never actually investigated anything. He just went along with what the Albert family said.

And that's exactly the type of bad police work we don't want. We want them to actually investigate and discover evidence which is something he did not do.

He even said in that interview that if he had it to do over again he might have looked at other cars for dents just to say that he did it.

The local police has no record of any sort of investigation on him. So if they were investigating it they were doing it with no records and no help from the local PD

Also, in the recent records dump they have found that Michael Proctor was forwarding department and investigatory emails to his personal email. So now his personal email can be FOIAed

That is so sad and frustrating.

The federal prosecutor that was involved in investigating Proctor and all this has left his federal prosecution job to run against Morrissey as Norfolk County DA.

That's pretty interesting. I think the bigger case is the lesser known one with a black defendant where Proctor made racist comments on his personal phone. Those troopers arent ouf of the woods yet, but teh Walsche case was the most well known case.

He probably thinks they have him dead to rights on the disposal and maybe it helps him strategically to admit to it to numb the effect of the Commonwealth arguing the disposal was evidence of murder. .

Maybe the evidence for the murder itself is pretty weak. Interesting strategy.

Maybe we will get to see these detective squirm on the stand after all.

IMO - there was a fight, possibly a couple guys ganged up on John, and John's death was an accident. Instead of owning up to their error Jen McCabe convinced them to cover it up and frame Karen. The frame job was proven false in court but the crooked cops and their families refuse to move on and accept defeat.

It kind of got glossed over at the trial, but most of them had been drinking pretty heavily that day. Went to at least 2 bars before going back to their home to continue drinking.

It's not a leap to say that JOK showed up, words were exchanged, and a fight broke out.

What we know for certain is the McAlberts stories are a lie. Video evidence confirms that at a minimum.

What exactly they were lying to cover up is the real question.

I don't really believe anytime intended to kill John. But alcohol+testosterone+bad life choices+bad luck of him falling back and hitting his head = death.

And the prosecution witness testified he might have been saved if they called for help right away. In trying to frame a plow then Karen, they did kill him to skate on an agg assault charge

Proving that the snow didn't take a few weeks to melt off to find those other pieces. I always thought they sent a few pieces to be found by SERT and they bagged and posted dated the rest at CPD. Never bothered to take them to 34 Fairview.

This Marbury v Madison person is an attorney in North Carolina that sued to get all the files in this case and got Judge Bev to release all the court sidebars that dont have to do with the jury.

Funny hearing all the same names ******, Tully. Proctor, Connor Keefe, etc in the Walshe trial. They are on 1st witness and listening to the recording of when he was lying to police. I love the judge though!
