Before starting, I want to apologize to each and every one of you for: 1) my absence, 2) any stress I caused to you because of this, and 3) my refusal to respond to your messages and e-mails. Furthermore, I want to thank Miss Hawg for her genuine concern for me by posting that thread the other day. And, of course, I thank all of you for your concerns as well. It was not my intention to be rude or cause grief to any of you.
If I had died, don't you think I would have told you?

You're wondering what happened to me? Well, um... I entered the transfer portal.

You see, I play Right Meme on the front line, and there's a real need for that position on other sites, but I run to the Right and most of them run Left. I wasn't picked up, so I came back to play on Forum 16 once again. I figured if Tyreek Chappell, Chase Bisontis, and the baseball team can do it, so can I.
Okay, seriously. I hit the wall, figuratively. It's happened to me in the past, but this one was worse. It wasn't the politics that got me. In that week, Trump got shot, Biden got replaced, Kamala was promoted, and the Olympics were just around the corner. Fodder for great memes. No, it was me. I started to think I was losing my touch. I felt out of step. In addition, I was upset about some things occurring on this forum. Petty, perhaps, but at that time, these things irritated me. I won't go into that because it's something I cannot control. The bottom line is that it just wasn't fun anymore. Some of that was brought on by my own thinking. I enjoy what I do here, but somehow that crashed in mid-July.
So, I quietly quit. It's called 'pulling a Titan'. You don't know how many times I could have placed a perfect meme on so many threads. But, had I relented and done so, my way of thinking at the time was that I wasn't doing out of enjoyment, but merely because I had the perfect meme and it fit. I wasn't in the mood to contribute, entertain or educate. I was gone. I did keep downloading great memes to share with three of my sisters and a cousin. Good thing I kept them.
Since I was 6 years old, I have walked away from stressful situations. I was invited to a birthday party by one of the girls in my class. When my mom dropped me off at their house, I discovered that I was the only boy there. My male classmates didn't show up, and I wasn't about to stick around. The only solution was to walk 2.2 miles home. When I walked into our house, mom was on the phone with the girl's mother, upset that I was missing. I have been walking away ever since. If it's unnecessary stress or no longer fun, I walk away. Don't consider me as a quitter. I spent over 5 years at Texas A&M. For my own sanity, if the stress is too much and I don't need to be there, or if it is no longer fun, I walk away from it. My whole life, I've tried to make every job, every relationship, every situation fun for myself and for others. When it's no longer fun, well…
I'm also stubborn. I ignored those of you who reached out to me. But, eventually, your concerns overwhelmed me and I responded briefly to alleviate that. Your kind remarks moved me to act. I am back and I hope to do better for you. The Sunday Funnies will return, but it's up to you to make it worth the effort I put into it. Make it fun for me.

One final thing I did have an accident recently that caused concern about my head. While I walked my 6 dogs, Butch, my favorite alley cat, showed up to join us. I leaned over to pet him. My eyes blurred and I collapsed to the pavement into a fence. The momentum caused my head to swing into the fence post. I said, "Here we go again" and I thought I was in real trouble. I swallowed some arnica that I carry for this kind of situation, contacted my primary doctor, and requested a CT scan which I received. It was negative, but the visit to the Imaging Center was positive. It involves a most beautiful young lady who administers the scan. As usual, I made the visit a fun one for myself and for her. It's what I do.
Two entities brought me back to Forum 16 all of you, and…Kamala Harris. She brings such rich material for posting. So, as a treat to you, this morning you will get the first of two Sunday Funnies. This one features Madam Harris. Later today, I will post a second Sunday Funnies that features her running mate. I have so much material that I could do four more Sunday Funnies just on her alone. Any suggestions you have will be considered.

Thanks again, to all y'all. My hope is to create a lot of laughs for your Sunday morning, today and future Sundays.
I'm truly blessed, and I wish the same blessings to you, my Aggie family.
Let's get started.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.
