It's amusing to see reasonable people from Canada and the Nordic countries (mainly Sweden and Norway) on Reddit inform users that their regions aren't exactly the utopias they're imagined to be. There's also people like this though.

City-specific subreddits like that are often full of people who simply reinforce what others want to hear though.

Like anyone in Seattle can't have an abortion there forever. Trump has said repeatedly that he does not support a national abortion bill.

The Dallas subreddit is super libby. It shows up in my feed but I always just keep scrolling.

It can take a while to get anything done in Canada. It's been like that for years, I think.

I ran across one couple a few years ago are Canadian ex-pats living in San Miguel de Allende. The husband needed some medical treatment and so they went back to Canada to get it done. It turned out that it was cheaper to pay out of pocket to get it done in San Miguel de Allende than to pay what it would cost to stay in Canada and wait for them to do it there waiting for the free treatment.

Don't get me wrong I love seeing them come into their own, but teenagers…..(sorry dad). It just breaks my heart to have people so willing to kill innocent children.
