Yea I ultimately don't think it would have mattered as the down ballot voting showed that people were sick of democrats top to bottom, but wow, what a stupid pick. In an election in which Kamala knew she needed to appear at least somewhat moderate, she picked a hyper progressive goofball from a deep blue state who put tampons in school bathrooms. Kelly or Shapiro at least makes it interesting.

It's hard to overstate just how bad Kamala is at politics. She doesn't know how to build and manage a good team, read a room, build a coherent and palatable platform, manage a campaign, or speak in public. She's just awful. Part of me thinks That the democrats resigned themselves to defeat after Biden pissed down his leg, and opportunistically gave Kamala a chance thinking "we'll either be pleasantly surprised or rid ourselves of a liability that we can't publicly toss aside because she checks too many victimhood boxes."

I think Harris was candidate for 110 days.

She got a bump from the Democratic Party convention. That was about three days.

She had a good debate. That was about three-day bump.

Trump lost the news cycle with Puerto Rico joke. That was a two-day bump.


Harris campaign won the news cycle on 8 days.
Trump campaign won the news cycle on 102 days.

Among all the gaslighting, misinformation, and outright lies from the left, the claim that 90% of Kamala's staff resigned because she was too prepared is the most far-fetched. I believe Trump, with Biden's help, won the Pierto Rico joke news cycle by taking the air out of it when he showed up in a garbage truck! And doubled down doing his rally that night wearing the safety vest and making fun of himself.

There was no counter punch for that.

The fact that Biden made his Trump supporter garbage comment, along with numerous other things he said that seemed to overshadow or neutralize her messaging at critical times, illustrates just how poorly the entire operation was run. While they did a good job coordinating with the media, there seemed to be little coordination within the campaign.

Now we know why.

I think this also goes back to people want to be able to laugh in public again. The Democrats have killed humor with their identity politics insanity.

We should all be able to laugh at ourselves and dark and insensitive humor has a function. The Democrats have stifled a necessary emotional outlet by proclaiming everything racist.

And people are sick of it.
