Looks like these Muslims stink up their own countries by making it "islamic" and then when sheet hits the ceiling with this failed ideology, they want non Muslims to bail them out.

Why should Muslims come to the US as refugees when they have been driven out by Islam? Go to Saudi Arabia and live in the desert like your Prophet did.

UK let in angry violent Pakistanis and the country is practically under Shariah now.

Trump administration cancels travel for refugees already cleared to resettle in the U.S.

WASHINGTON (AP) Refugees who had been approved to travel to the United States before a deadline next week suspending America's refugee resettlement program have had their travel plans canceled by the Trump administration.
Thousands of refugees who fled war and persecution and had gone through a sometimes yearslong process to start new lives in America are now stranded at various locations worldwide. That includes more than 1,600 Afghans who assisted America's war effort, as well as relatives of active-duty U.S. military personnel.
WATCH NOW: A look at the history of U.S. immigration policies that led to today's complex system
President Donald Trump paused the refugee resettlement program this week as part of a series of executive orders cracking down on immigration. His move had left open the possibility that refugees who had been screened to come to the U.S. and had flights booked before the Jan. 27 deadline might be able to get in under the wire.
But in an email dated Tuesday and reviewed by The Associated Press, the U.S. agency overseeing refugee processing and arrivals told staff and stakeholders that "refugee arrivals to the United States have been suspended until further notice."
There are a little more than 10,000 refugees from around the world who had already gone through the lengthy refugee admission process and had travel scheduled over the next few weeks, according to a document obtained by the AP. It was not immediately clear how many of those had been set to arrive by upcoming deadline.
Among those are more than 1,600 Afghans cleared to come to the U.S. as part of the program that the Biden administration set up after the American withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
Many veterans of America's longest war have tried for years to help Afghans they worked with, in addition to their families, find refuge in the U.S. Many were prepared for a suspension of the resettlement program but had hoped for special consideration for the Afghans.
"The Trump administration's early pause of refugee flights is alarming, leaving thousands of Afghan allies in fear and uncertainty," said Shawn VanDiver, a Navy veteran and head of #AfghanEvac, a coalition supporting Afghan resettlement efforts. "We are ready to partner to fix this and urge clear communication with impacted families. Let's honor our promises and uphold America's values."
There is a separate path the special immigrant visa program specifically for Afghans who worked directly with the U.S. government. VanDiver's group said that program, set up by Congress, did not appear to be affected at this time.
Trump's order signed Monday had given the State Department a week before it began to halt all processing and traveling. It appears the timing was moved up, though it was not immediately clear what prompted the change.

Really good way to signal that locals should in no way cooperate with our armed forces the next time we're engaged in an overseas conflict (and there will be a next time).

Vietnamese allies good, Afghan allies bad.

The ones who worked with our personnel should probably be exempted, but a good idea not to let randoms in any number from the more regressive types of Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Biden **** all over that when he ****ed up the exit from Afghanistan and brought over thousands of unvetted people, whille simultaneously leaving behind people who helped us AND AMERICANS.

i have personally seen this stuff in Houston (IAH) with dozens of obvious middle easterners wearing exact matching outfits with matching duffle bags with matching tags on them.

They always have some American handler(s) with them wearing the organizations acronym. Really seemed hard to believe and then i saw it several more times in 2024. all in terminal B.

One time was an entire family...grandparents to grandkids - likely 20 of them. Most of the others were boys/men aged 16-24 or so.

How anyone was okay with that i'd never know.

The article is a bit confusing, but this does not appear to include Afghans that worked directly with the US government (good, it shouldn't), but does include 1600 people that were somehow identified as working with our people outside of normal channels. At least that's what I am reading. It also doesn't sound like it's a full delete of the program, but a pause.

I'd be OK with this new admin reviewing those 1600 first and if the evidence they did assist our people informally is strong enough, let them in.

The rest, not so much.

Biden already set the precedent on that. He completely abandoned them! Instead of getting them out before withdrawing, he just split and left them to die. And die they did. Most of those you are referring to are already dead because of your boy.

Exactly.

How many of us pick up homeless people from the streets and let them sleep on the comfy sofa at home?
My Afghan Muslim friend was complaining about Republicans kicking out illegals, so I asked him what's he done to help refugee Afghans in his house?
Nothing.
He didn't let them stay at his Bay Area crib.

I call BS on it being Afghanis that helped America...

Quote:

The Biden administration's final decision in April 2021 was to begin the withdrawal on 1 May 2021, but the final pull-out of all US troops was delayed until September 2021, triggering the start of the collapse of the ANSF. This collapse led to the Taliban takeover of Kabul on 15 August 2021.
So you are telling me Biden pulled out in Sept 2021, but it is Trump's fault that the Afghanis that assisted Americans are being told they can't come in Jan 2025?

It has been over 3 years. Why didn't Biden admin make sure they were all here 24 months ago?

Well I know him for over 20 years, he's a decent dude except for his love for the Dems. But then he is a Muslim man who came to the US as a refugee from Afghanistan in the 80s so his perspective is different.

I can agree to disagree with him.

Guarantee they were UN duffel bags. That is what I saw. About 10 people in muslim garb with a mountain of UN duffel bags. I am guessing they paid more for their additional bags than I did.

If you can document they helped I could see some flexibility

But there are no reliable records to vet who these people from Afghanistan are. Also a lot of non ****hole countries that are closer like India and plenty of civilized Muslim countries that could better get them.

Afghanistan is dominated by a grotesque culture, and has the highest (by far) % of the population that seeks sharia law in the world. The use of bacha bazi or young boys for sexual pleasure and sale/rape of young girls, is broadly accepted and just two reasons absolutely zero Afghans should be brought here. If they want to live somewhere else, they can try Pakistan or Bangladesh etc. There are zero 'translators' or 'black hawk pilots' etc. left.

Joe Biden had plenty of time to send them gift cards (and sent millions per month to the Taliban). War's over, Biden surrendered ignominiously (and brought over 100K+ here without any vetting at all), and we don't need any more.

My wife and I got involved with Houston Welcomes Refugees a few years ago, and helped an Afghan family with 6 kids settle here. The father was a pediatric surgeon in Afghanistan, probably helping the US war effort. They had nothing when they arrived. The boys immediately got to work finding jobs, and all the kids started school. These were highly intelligent, hard-working people, and are working 10x harder than some of my in-laws to be productive members of society. I've taken them to Christmas service, been to their apartment for holiday dinner, helped them find a family car, etc. I pray they come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, but I am glad to have the chance to show them why that is even attractive.

Afghans overwhelmingly support sharia law, much more so than any other moslem country. But we don't have to wonder about the 'refugees' team Biden brought over. Killed another Afghani.

Quote:

The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Masiulla Sahil. Investigators said he admitted to the brutal stabbing because he was upset with how long it was taking to get his refugee status approved.

Sahil is charged with murder. He had an interpreter in court overnight and his bond was set at $750,000.
The attack happened inside Niazi's office on Harwin Drive, where he ran a business helping fellow Afghan refugees with things like immigration paperwork, taxes, job applications, and more.

Houston police were called to the office building at 7111 Harwin Dr. just before 6 p.m. Wednesday after employees reportedly found Niazi unresponsive after he had missed a meeting. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sahil was later identified as the suspect in Niazi's death and was arrested in the 7400 block of Fondren Road without incident.

Investigators say video shows Sahil going in and out of the office building and while leaving, it appears he had blood on his clothes.

Investigators also say Sahil admitted to getting into an argument with the victim, going out to his car, getting a knife, and threatening the victim before stabbing him about 20 times all over his body.

Friends told ABC13 Niazi served as an interpreter for the U.S. military until a suicide bomber took both his legs. In 2014, the U.S. government relocated him as a refugee to Houston, where he thrived.
The various afghan cultures are just broken, net, as with Haitian or Somali ones.

The sad thing is, because of the way the left controls language and culture, we can't even say that we shouldn't be bringing in muslims to this country. Everyone knows they're responsible for literally almost all the terrorism in the world and that it's their express desire to control the world and put it under sharia law.

Of course they weren't vetted. Our forces were essentially under attack and they let any afghanis on the planes that showed up. Theres no doubt we brought terrorists over and released them into the US. Intentionally.
