If you've listened to any of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s public appearances, you may have noticed a quiver in his voice when he speaks.

That's the result of a rare neurological condition known as spasmodic dysphonia, which has afflicted Kennedy for decades.

"I have a tremble in my voice … particularly when I first start talking," Kennedy said in an interview on The Diane Rehm Show in 2004. (Rehm also has spasmodic dysphonia.)

Kennedy said that, earlier in his career, he would receive letters and emails from people who saw him on TV or heard him on the radio, and that three or four of those people suggested he might have spasmodic dysphonia. He later got an official diagnosis.

According to Dysphonia International, spasmodic dysphonia is a neurological disorder that causes involuntary spasms in the muscles that open and close a person's vocal cords, resulting in a "voice that presents with breaks and strained/strangled quality or breathy quality."

An estimated 50,000 people in North America are believed to have spasmodic dysphonia, the group says, and affects more women than men. The cause of the condition is unknown.

You aren't entitled to the skills Doctors spend years learning. That's their trade, we can make it more affordable and fix insurance but its not a right.

This is pretty freaking amazing, I'm trying to wrap my head around what an idiotic mistake this joke of a Senator made here. She gets the stupidest "Is that all you want to do?" comment and then foolishly lets RFK go off and fully explain what he is talking about. Just absolutely humiliated her.

It goes to what I think all nominees should say when Warner is on this war path that she is always on. While I am the secretary I will work to the benefit of the American people and no point benefit personally from my role as the secretary. I can assure you and I hope that all government employees or elected officials are taking on their roles to this same goal. If we have a government that the people are serving for their own benefit, that is something Congress should work quickly to address.

If you know nothing about RFK this 2 and a half minutes sums it up as to what he wants to do better than anything. He isn't doing this for money or power. He just wants to fix the health problems in this country. He has a unique perspective as someone that has sued the government and Big Pharma and knows how the game is played. Virtually all of the people opposing him used to be his friends and fought with him on environmental issues. He's got a massive team of folks that are coming from all sides to help him. Even if you don't agree with everything he says or dislike the man it's hard not to find this compelling as someone who truly wants to make changes and have a lasting impact.

I don't like everything about RFK but I can't see how anyone wouldn't want to give him a chance unless they truly are corrupt.

She asked if he'd not sue over vaccines. She didn't say don't practice law at all!

He has tons of environmental cases he does. But doesn't get that nice contingency fee on those!

Easy choice on order to give up:

1-Gabbard: least important job of the three, and she has valid objections from conservatives

2-RFK: important job, some valid objections to him overall, but likely won't affect his role. But he can be replaced.

3-Patel. Extremely important role & no conservative objection to him. Hes the perfect man for the job!
