Senate confirmation votes used to be based on whether qualified or not…. Now is completely on party lines…. Ridiculous….
"Now" meaning when it's a republican.

The republicans still vote for democrat nominees, even when they're pieces of ****, which is most of the time.

Ridiculous that it is nearly 5 weeks after Inauguration day and these confirmation hearings/votes are still in play.

Thune... get this over with. Make the senate swamp rats work over the weekend if need be.

I truly hope Grassley is correct about Patels aims. The only way this Republic survives is if we can give our Counter-intelligence and law enforcement a hard factory reset.

Time will tell.

Confident that Senator Grassley will survive "The Purge of 2026" that is coming to Congress.

90% of the House and Senate (not counting the Senators not up for re-election) is going to be holding their breath from now until November 3, 2026.

And that's assuming they make it through their respective primaries.

Trump getting recognized for the diversity? Eh, not so much.
I get the point, and it is totally valid. However, I don't want our side even bringing this up. It is a game the left plays, and mentioning race just resumes our playing their game. Better to take the high road and focus purely on his or anyone on our side's merit only.

Turning Point USA has vowed to vigorously go after swampy Senators. I heard Charlie Kirk say on Megyn Kelly's show they told Cornyn point blank, "You vote for Trump's appointees or you WILL be primaried by the candidate we back." Those threats are going out to everyone.

Everyone that has their head above the sand knows that last November was a referendum by the people, and the people are not afraid to say it this time around. If a well funded and organized primary challenger squares up against a recalcitrant, swampy, anti-MAGA "republican" that incumbent will be beatable.

The biggest challenge primary challengers have boils down to M O N E Y. They generally lack the track record, history, and name recognition it takes to get the money they need to get their name out there.

Might not be the hurdle it once was when all the money laundering is shut off by DOGE. Yes, I'm talking about Republican incumbents. I'm certain many get their share. Dems it goes without saying.

We all crap on Susan Collins but a MAGA Republican won't win a general in the state of Maine. Collins sucks, but she's better than a full blown lib who votes with Dems 100% the time. If you want to primary Murowski in Alaska and Coryn, now you're speaking my language.

Ken Paxton was on Tucker's podcast the other day and it sounds like he is strongly considering running against Cornyn. He hates the guy.

Damn. The evidence that both the Obama 44 and Biden*46 admins were bad actors grows by the day.

Wonder if Kash will be able to flush out some evidence what was going on with the FBI and Ukraine and if has anything to do with the war. Still suspect its not as simple as saying its all on Putin either. The deep state has been provoking trouble with them since before Trump was elected as this shows.

Between the blanket pardons and Statutes of Limitations expiring or expired, do not expect charges.

That is important as DOJ policy does not allow statements on investigations not resulting in charges. FBI would have to leak (not a good thng, generally) they were investigating...but to what end?

That leaves Congressional investigations which sucks

But does it really surprise you? I think most of us who view things pragmatically realized either consciously or unconsciously that something was amiss in both of those administrations. When you get past the gaslighting it becomes pretty obvious.

Now, how much of that bad activity will be brought to light, I have no idea. My opinion is there are a lot of dirty hands.

Surprise? No. But would like it to come clearly out so the public can know if much of the overseas trouble actually was caused by the OBidens. Don't expect any charges or justice, but learning that for sure could be constructive itself.

First director who is not a white man. If he was democrat, headlines would be "historic" and "ceiling breaking." Instead this is probably the only times the media never mentions race.

I hope Adam Schiff realizes that his Joe Biden pardon only covers his criminal activity as relates to the Jan 6 investigation.

It doesn't cover his criminal activity as relates to the Russia-Gate hoax.
Which is what he most needs to be dinged for, along with some of the other 2016/2017 plotters to undermine the incoming 45 admin. One like now, chosen by blue states as well.
