Thankful for my other two children who encourage me to be faithful and stand true.

What we are dealing with personally has made me loathe the whole woke nonsense even more. It is a mind virus and it harms families deeply. I righteously resent it.

Hard to say -- culture at school was part of it. Internet activity was a huge part of it that we were ignorant of until her mid teens.

We also trusted public schools........ way too much. I still have one at home - and he is in Catholic School and quite based.

Be careful even with Catholic schools as my kids had some pretty woke high school teachers at their Catholic school.

I can't imagine choosing politics and/or religion over family. You don't have to agree. Just try not talking politics

How old and what school district. Perhaps she will grow out of it.

Might need to cut her off if she's a dependent. Surely she doesn't want money and support from mean conservatives.

Never stop praying that they will come back...even though it may make things more painful, always remember how much you loved them when they were going through those early stages of life, and how they were your entire world.

If you haven't tried, maybe write them a "love letter" of sorts explaining the type of love a parent has for a child.

This is honestly one of my biggest fears...I have an almost-4 year old who is just completely obsessed with me and sees me as her number one protector. I figured, if I am lucky, I have maybe 8-10 more years of her thinking I'm pretty cool. She is an only child, so I don't know how I would handle her rejecting me. At least you have the two other offspring.

Never give up on the wayward one though...you never know. The woke mind virus is NOT incurable. And many kids dabble ini all forms of rebellion at that age...goth sh**, drugs, drinking, bad behavior, taking up stupid cause etc etc.

Going through similar experience, not child, but close friend.

Social media is the the primary driver here with my case. Limited to no discussion on other ideas, constant reaffirming of beliefs through algorithms on the platform, and a degradation of the other side (dehumanizing anyone not left).

Yep. She said that.

My 58 year old sister is exactly the same. Calls me fascist, Nazi, and says we will "lose our democracy, or at least there will be a lot of bloodshed" because I support President Trump and now Elon. She's lived off of our parent's money her entire life, had a large number of kids and then divorced, and spends all of her time on social media. It's truly like a mental illness.

I don't know where you are at but College Station ISD is a liberal hell hole. Biggest mistake I made was public schools.

I ended up with one liberal and one that will end up back on the Republican side.

Still holding out hope that both will gain understanding as they mature. 24 and 26 year olds. Guess that you don't really know anything until you are 30.

Scary stuff. I got lucky. My middle daughter is very into theater and was a frequent participant in a local theater group. She has been surrounded by LGBT for most of her formative teen years and on into early adult life including her time at A&M given her pursuits and the people that generally are found in that activity. She took an internship in the belly of the beast at Disney.

However, despite that environment, she is decidedly un-woke and is well on her way to being a staunch conservative. One of my proud moments was a recent photo she sent me of her at her first gun show in Florida. Last year, she asked me for a handgun for her birthday.

You just never know how it will turn out, but all you can do is be steadfast and loving when it comes to kids.

Writing is an excellent way to communicate. A hand-written letter, not an email. Give your child things to think about without overtly rejecting what they believe. Rush Limbaugh was very much correct, the best way to sway someone is let them come to their own conclusions, but you can lead them there by the way you ask questions.

Mine is living a Lesbian lifestyle.

And we won't acquiesece to her demands that we will support it.

We accept she has chosen this path. But we will not be bullied into abandoning the truth of the Gospel.

My only advice is to never cease to pray for her. She will always be your daughter no matter how hateful she may be, now or in the future. But our Lord works in His way and His timing. Give her time and I believe she'll return to you.

We were in Austin ISD, and that school district went mental when Trump won. They've stopped teaching. Their aim is to create ignorant democrat voting bots. My son's history teacher spent 2 weeks on Maoism never once mentioning the millions he killed, until he brought it up. Multiple girls in my sons class complained to the teacher that my son shouldn't be reading the Bible during his breaks.
They are mental.

I'm estranged from my family so I understand that dynamic. But instead of them putting politics between themselves and family, they chose their addictions.
