Saw a reference to this in the funny political tweets thread, decided to see if it was satire. It is not.

Of course this is proposed by Democrats

I'll give Somani credit, it's a terrific PR move and ensures she'll be re-elected. The women will love her for this.

They carved out an exception for gays apparently, which I would think they CANNOT do under equal protections act.

IANAL, but if the bill is filed, could the filer have a class action law suit from straight men?

The women 'produce ova' so that has nothing to do with the male. So it would only be a crime for unprotected sex with a woman with ovaries or functioning ovaries? The male has no control over that whether or not ova is produced.

So I wonder what the man's response could be to a partner that lies about being "on the pill"?

Also, since all contraception has a failure rate, how would you "prove" you used a condom? Would you need to keep it like a receipt?

Another option is to not have sex unless you are willing to raise a resulting child.
People of integrity expect to be believed, when they're not, they let time prove them right.
