$30k is CHEAP if they sign away right to future legal action

If you got no physical injuries I think you gotta go with a John Madden cruiser strategy here as a measure of damages.
You so traumatized by the crash that it's no longer reasonable for you and your family to travel by plane ever again.
So you need a John Madden cruiser style bus to make you whole again.
$300-400 thousand will get you into a nice Class A RV. Work a deal for around that and you walking away with a win.
Send that offer to Delta and I think you be sitting under the auto-retractible awning of your very own RV by summertime.
