Also whether he was going to fall down stairs or sht himself. It was always a tossup.

He could do both at the same time, you know, multitasking.

As far as Obama he didn't say it out loud but he was trying to essentially be one. Trump is just tweaking the nose of the MSM and the CMs.
Yup.

He is playing their game against them, and doing it better than they did. And they are lapping it up like morons. Hey, as long as the idiots are focused on the shiny object and can't be focused on the actual productive real changes and trying to stop them, I'm all about him tossing trinkets and rolling the easy hand grenades across the table. It works.

It's become very clear that the "conservative" party would almost universally accept a monarchy if it was their guy in charge.

The real "patriots" around here have the Founding Fathers rolling in their graves.
this is what is so disturbing about the MAGA cult. Conservatives used to be the safe haven for constitutionalists and limited government. Its so far from that now. It is in a lot of ways an understandable reaction to the craziness of the left but it is disturbing nonetheless.
That sentence really doesn't make sense, but if you said the GOP used to be a safe haven for constitutional conservatives, then it might have made more sense. But despite this, I think I get your point.

However, true conservatives have not had an effective majority in a very long time. Not in my lifetime at least and probably long before that. MAGA never claimed to be for the advancement of conservatism, it has been for the advancement of American culture and greatness. This happens to be something conservatives also believe in, so it makes MAGA and conservatism mutually aligned with a common goal. Leftism in all its flavors or aligned with neither. Conservatives understand their position in regards to MAGA and aren't sweating out the details because defeating leftism and ending the Deep State are far more critical issues than fighting over philosophical details.

Some would love to find schisms to exploit between MAGA fan boys and true conservatives and your post smacks exactly of that. Nice try but I'm not taking the bait
Yeah good point conservatives didnt really make sense there. I guess my point is that the MAGA crowd screams "lib" anytime someone criticized trump for things that would have universally been decried by constitutional conservatives even very recently. Even though so many that oppose trump are not "libs" but are conservative and so many that are MAGA are clearly not constitutional conservatives.

That is obviously fine, do what you want to do, but for the MAGA crowd, just please dont ever talk about the constitution, morality, political norms, tradition, limited government, etc again.

When I was in law school, the head of the federalist society straight up told me he would prefer a Christian theocracy. It was very disturbing given it is antithetical to so many of our core values as a country (freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc). Now he is chief of staff for Ted Cruz.
The only person that should never talk about the constitution, morality, political norms, limited government, etc. is you. Based on what I bolded above.

HTH.

Also, your viewpoints with respect to MAGA are just....well, let's say highly influenced by what your overlords have told you to think.

Epic troll. The left has no sense of humor.
Between Trump and Musk, there's a flood of lies and 'trolling.'

I mean it's actually insane if you go look at Musk's twitter timeline. He seemingly spends hours a day tweeting, reposting, and sharing content on twitter. These posts usually fall into one of two categories - - posts praising him or posts spreading hate and vitriol. Most of it is obvious trolling (immature nonetheless), but some of it is more insidious. Just the other day he retweeted an image from an account claiming to show 'migrants storming a Birmingham hospital' with axes and knives. However that was a production image from The Dark Knight Rises.

He shared that post with "What happened here?", which provides him a thinly veiled cover of ignorance, but anyone with 2 brain cells would know this wasn't an honest accident. He does this ROUTINELY.

And Trump and his MAGA horde laps it up. They are rapidly fed a large diet of bull**** and fake outrage bait to the point they can't even distinguish reality from their twitter feed.

Long live the king. It's only a joke until enough people believe it isn't.

Folks that say Trump going too far and it was unnecessary gotta realize Trump didn't get where he is now by *****footin' around.

Changing what Trump doing at this stage would be as big a mistake as trying to make Johnny stay in the pocket in 2013.

At this point you gotta dance with the one that bung ya.

45% approval rating?
Much like "reported" polling numbers...

If Trump's approval rating is "reported" as 45%, it's probably closer to 65%.

By the end of Trump's presidential campaign, Musk had spent $277 million to elect Trump and allied Republicans, making the largest individual political donor of the 2024 election and the largest individual political donor since at least 2010 outside of candidates funding their own campaigns

So what? There are large donors in every campaign. But you have a hard on for Musk for some reason.

Answer me a simple question. To date is what DOGE has accomplished for America net good or net bad? Good or bad, there is no equivocating. Do your own calculus and give us the result. I don't want to hear your obfuscating arguments.

One of them would take him out if he literally declared himself to be king. And that would be a good thing.

Given the destruction that Biden administration did I thank God he can do these executive orders especially the crappy ones Biden, or whoever was running the country, did right there at the end of his term. And let's not even get started on the pardons. Mostly for his own family.

Yup.

Funny how they ignore that.

They also seem to get really pissed off about the President appointing who he wants. If he hadn't appointed us in that position, it would've been someone else and they would still be doing the same thing. The liberals went from loving musk to hating him when he started supporting Trump. So nothing he does now is good enough for them and they will always look for bad in him. When all he did was let the truth get out there unlike Jack the previous guy who suppressed.

Each campaign in 2024 had a lot of money but this is by no means all, don't forget that Hollywood money, and of course we know Kamala ended up 20 million in the hole. And still lost. Hillary lost too, so at least Musk's money was well spent.

And I think there is no way to know how much the Soros family has interfered and donated outside of listed donations. The amount of money they have poured into illegals has been obscene.
