DEI is not a bad word, and as some folks here had predicted, companies are not renaming it and pushing it out with a different name.

The new name is "I&D".

I was able to find several I&D jobs in Linkedin.

It was the E of imposed Equity that was the main catch-22 but the whole concept is bad because its weasel-talk for quota systems.

Name one of these places that actually believes in Inclusion. Remember this is a liberal tactic. When they say Inclusion they mean Exclusion (for conservatives, white people, men, etc).

And when they say Diversity what they really mean is that how a person looks is more important than how they perform.

"I&D" is the abbreviation for the surgical term "incision & drainage" of pus from an infected abcess. Typical dem opposite day naming as they are attempting to establish the corporate personnel equivalent of an abcess in previously healthy tissue.

At my current organization we changed the language of materials universally and have asked team members to make this change when talking both internally and externally about Inclusion and Diversity as it relates to our company!

Same here. Got the email Monday this week of the change. Half the department was let go and other half is renamed. Sickening.

Exactly.

I saw a video where a guy was talking about how every company and agency should have a workforce that looks like all of America. It reminded me of when Bill Clinton made it a point to have all kinds of people in his administration.

I didn't agree with that then and I don't agree with that way of thinking now. The best qualified should get the position period, be that person a straight white male or an LGBTQXYZ African-American female transitioning.

Lowering standards to promote them is the problem.

What is really needed is what is already happening. Far more streamlined and swift booting of those pushing that wokeism. Campuses seem to lag the most on this score of removal going by some threads.

My former company changed DEI to D&I a year ago. The word was that the E was indefensible and left the company open to lawsuits. Of course, Equity should have never been even considered as it is a communist term.

Of course, it is all horse**** and needs to be extracted from society.
We may not always get what we want. We may not always get what we need. Just so we don't get what we deserve.
