If they actually cared about climate, wouldn't they stay home?
To make it worse, in preparation for the summit, the government is building a brand new four lane highway through the rain forest for the conference. Not only are they cutting down the trees, but they are also paving over the wetlands in the process.
Apparently, it will have walls to keep the locals from using the highway. Not only can they not use the highway, but some of them made a living from things like harvesting berries growing in the path of the highway.
