If your definition of gender is based on chromosomes, and trans people don't claim have different chromosomes, then they are not delusional. They are not denying any objective observable reality.

When conservatives and liberals talk about gender, they are talking about different things, which is why this argument is pointless. It's just semantics. If we can't agree on definitions, accusations of delusion are meaningless.

I have zero issues with trans. I've interacted with a few, mostly confused teenagers that were friend of my kid and trying to find acceptance. I was always respectful, and welcomed them into my house like any other person. I called them by their chosen name. Live and let live I say.

However, for me, they crossed the line with sexual mutilation of children and men in women's sports. Their absolute insanity on these two issues are 100% non negotiable for me.

It's interesting he mentioned definitions when the left quite literally can't even define what a woman is. A Supreme Court justice for gods sake wasn't able to do so. Matt Walsh's movie "What is a Woman" shows just how ridiculous this has become.

It's a distraction. Obama perfected this divisive social issue blitz while behind the scenes massive fraud and abuse could be perpetrated with little to no scrutiny.

No internal psychological perception is not a fact. What you think of yourself in your mind is not reality. Reality is the shared external.

What is missing here is just widen the existing definition. The fact is there a feminized males and more man like females, but they remain one or the other physically unless in between, but in between is a temporary place and outlier.

You have to have agreed norms. If the Left starts changing the definitions of mountains to rivers and rivers to mountains it is their fault, not handed-down society's - it would meet massive and justified resistance and ridicule.

And again, you don't run society around outliers. Those in that middle state are few and far between. Give them more space to be one or the other. What may be lacking is recognition of that point--- but the physical should govern the approach where the physical is involved -- bathroom privacy caters to externals -- sports caters to muscle power and physicality. Sex itself -- again physical. We all have heard the stories of sailors and soliders overseas in Burma horrified to have ended up with a male fake prostitute. At that point, the physical mattered.

So in those, physical is indeed the only reality that matters.

There is literally a mental disorder in the DSM about this. It is called Gender Dysphoria. It is a mental disorder.

I don't care if somebody has some rare genetic disorder and wants to portray themselves as the opposite gender than what their appearance would indicate. I don't care if they have gender dysphoria and want to pretend to be the opposite gender. I don't care if some guys just like wearing women's clothes or some women just like appearing to be very butch.

What I care about is when they want to force me to pretend that I don't notice that they are a dude in women's clothes and call them ma'am. I care when a male athlete that failed to excel in the men's ranks and recently decided to grow out his hair and start wearing women's clothes decides they want to compete against women with a huge genetic advantage over them. I care when a creepy dude in a dress wants to go into the women's locker room at the gym and walk around naked with an erection while looking at women and young girls.

They are welcome to have their own opinion of what their gender is or should be, but they shouldn't have the right to force everybody else to pretend along with them.
