Seeing individuals that blame the oppressed for overthrowing an unjust system is one incident I didn't expect on my bingo card today. Especially in America of all places that fought wars over taxes and slavery.

You are pro-Apartheid?

I guess I am struggling to find a reason why someone would knock down signs protesting Apartheid unless they supported Apartheid.
Or just really hated peaceful protest and freedom of speech?
Or were just an arrogant drunk bully?

I am trying to come up with any decent reason that someone would go out of their way to destroy something that has no effect on their lives and they could easily walk past. Coming up blank, tbh.
Which is why this statement would lead to lawsuits if a professor followed through with it.OnlyForNow said:
Too bad students can't physically assault the wrong-doers without REAL repercussions.
Allowing students to police themselves would be fine if canning were legal.

I'd bet the students police themselves real quickly
Would you feel that same way if people were knocking over signs supporting White South African farmers?CanyonAg77 said:swimmerbabe11 said:redcrayon said:swimmerbabe11 said:

Don't dump crap on my campus, and I won't kick it over.

From what he has said, he is against all peaceful protesting on A&Ms campus and even flyers for events on campus should be relegated to the trash bin. The campus must be as pristine as Mary Kondo's home before she had kids and if it doesn't spark joy on the most beautiful university grounds in the nation, it must be removed, with force.
Where is this school? It sounds nice, makes me wish I had gone there. My mother taught GED classes and had to deal with this.Mathguy64 said:
I have the right to kick a student out of class for being a disruption. It's in the student and faculty handbook. They cannot return until I'm satisfied it won't happen again and if it's bad enough I can just say "you aren't ever coming back". Good luck passing the class when you aren't allowed to attend.

With 70,000 students, there are going to be some idiots.
Also, they were peaceful and did not attack or harass others, nor did they damage any property.
Wouldn't surprise me.
