And technically it was a theft, not a robbery, the latter implies the use of force to take something.

How does the SS allow someone to get that close?

To be fair, I think that SS is there to protect life, and not necessarily personal property, but if they're close enough to take a purse, isn't that close enough to represent a real threat ?

Every 80's kid grew up thinking secret service dudes were the coolest...a collection of hardened BAMF's. I just always assumed they were mostly former spec-ops badasses. I don't know what to think anymore...I just pray for our president.
