My mother thought that the can opener was a "cooks" best friend.
I do NOT want to go into the number of Campbell's Condensed Soups I endured in my childhood. Hot dogs and pork & beans comprised many meals.

This is awesome.

Some of us have worked in Saudi Arabia. When someone goes out of their way like this, it's a sign of courtesy and respect. They're going out of their way to have something familiar for you in their faraway nation.

I remember when my Saudi sponsor had an "American meal" at his home for me. I've never had hamburgers, fried chicken and pizza served together, but it was a nice gesture. We even had an apple pie.

Saudis will go to all lengths to please when entertaining. I love The Kingdom.

Thankfully for them, fresh hummus and baba ghanoush with fresh pita bread is all I ever want over there.
