I don't think we're going to see tariff impacts until 3rd quarter, maybe 4th

If current data shows we are good, why should Powell cut? That's especially true of tariffs will never show up as a factor as some seem to think

Agree. I don't share everyone's yearning for 0 or near 0% rates. Car rates? Let Trump clear out a bunch of the EPA nonsense and maybe the market will return to a desire for some simpler, less gadgety option. Home prices and mortgage rates? Everyone just wants rates to come down. There's far less talk about a lower selling price.
