Simply stating an injury and that it's irreparable should still have limits, no? Otherwise every law breaker and murderer could theoretically get a TRO against incarceration prior to trial if they found a crazy enough judge simply because detainment could be considered irreparable injury to the accused...

What am I missing here?
if you find a judge crazy enough, anything can happen regardless of the law or rules.

as for your hypo, a TRO before a criminal trial would be not ripe because you have not been sentenced to jail. but even if one did issue, it is only good for 14 days.

This is an excellent point. If the Juan Merchan trial didn't convince you that from behind the bench the black rope can rule any way they want. Sure it's possible that it is a reversible mistake but the Robe has free rein from the bench. The judge in Wisconsin screwed up when she adjourned her court and assumed her immunity extended beyond her court and was an unofficial act.

What is the process to impeach District judges? Whatever the process is, it needs to ensue. It's the only way to deal with these traitorous judges that place their political agenda over the safety of American citizens.
Same for impeaching a President.

The House impeaches and then the Senate holds the trial.

Which is why it is pointless because the Democrats in the Senate will never vote for conviction, and the Republicans don't have anywhere close to the number of votes needed. Besides, the Republicans wouldn't have the guts to do it even if they had the votes.
It's not pointless even if there is no conviction. The indictment/trial process will take up a lot of Boasberg/others time, preventing them from taking as many new cases, first of all, and the evidence of their bias will also help overturn their decisions/give them pause to recuse themselves from some cases.

The trials in lawfare are part of the punishment, as Trump and Gen. Flynn could attest, among others. It is time to put their partisan litigants, and not just Tish James but rather the ones in black robes, through such ordeals. And, I'd add, these district court judges are used to running their courtroom fiefdom's entirely as they see fit, there's a good chance they get really angry and blow up when questioned in a hearing.

It's not as though the House is busy doing much else useful.

Sad update on this one. Mohammed will now face upgraded murder charges. Has his family been deported yet?

An 82-year-old victim of the Boulder, Colorado, antisemitic firebomb attack has died weeks after she was badly burned, officials said.

Karen Diamond, who was among the 29 victims who were attacked while peacefully marching to support the Israeli hostages held captive by Hamas, succumbed to her "severe injuries," the Boulder County District Attorney's Office said in a statement Monday.

The suspect, Mohamed Soliman, is facing upgraded charges including two counts of first-degree murder, prosecutors said.

This group that the deceased woman was with, only wanted peace, and were mostly older folks who were not in any way confrontational. In fact, it was very much a group that would avoid inflaming tensions with any pro pali's who would say anything and they never said anything hateful about Palestinians The fact this murderous scumbag targeted them goes to show you how disgusting this whole 'Globalize the Intifada' movement is.

World War 2 ended 80 years ago. I find it hard to believe the poor lady was subjected to the Holocaust.

That being said, there are plenty of aggravating factors. She was a defenseless lady exercising her right to peacefully support her people, and died in a horrible, painful way for it.

Even saying this as a black guy, I would want this man to have to live to reckon with what he's done and repent…but let's just say guys like this make me almost wish that frontier justice was still a thing, and I wouldn't exactly be devastated if he had experienced some of it.

My dad has a friend who was born to Jewish parents while they were both in camps and all three survived. Don't remember if the other children did.

Allot of homeless people, and drunks always camp out right where that happened.

Not sure why hanging out near the courthouse and other public buildings is their preferred camp site.

Colorado is absolutely full of vacant political reason, wisdom, and serious governance.

Basically, idiots are running the show in Colorado.

I have evidence. I live here.
