Its not a matter of things changing, its as I described earlier. Listen to what it actually happening in the cases from the lawyers in those cases. Not the noise from some gal tweeting on her own without any official press release.

As for Garcia being released, you are thinking of the magistrate's ruling in the Criminal case in Tennessee. This is the Civil case filed by Garcia in Maryland.

Actually at this point I think we have them enough...I'm not sure I could hate them anymore if I tried. Nothing they do surprises me and they have themselves to blame why NOBODY trusts anything they say anymore.

This is getting absurd. Judges just doing whatever they want nowadays.

Judge Xinis has now blocked the Trump administration from taking him into ICE custody upon his release.

The MD judge is saying that means he has to be put back on Supervisory Release in MD & therefore ICE can't take him into custody in TN and then decide what to do with him from there.

But the SCOTUS actually said the status quo ante meant his case had to handled as it would have been had he not been improperly "sent to El Salvador," NOT had he not been detained for deportation.

He has a final order of removal. He also has a "withholding" granted by an immigration judge that means he couldn't be sent to El Salvador. And he'd been released to Supervision in MD. But being on a Supervision status does NOT mean you can't be taken into custody at any time & deported. You can be. No further proceedings or warrants are needed to take the person into custody. The mistake ICE made was deporting him to El Salvador, NOT detaining him. They could have - and still can - do that anytime just based on the original removal order. He can file a habeas if they do that - he still can if ICE gets custody of him. But that's the status quo ante, not his status on Supervision.
