The idea that when a civilian does the shooting, the number of shots matters, but when it comes to cops, they are taught to essentially keep shooting until it's empty and they stop moving.

At some point, judges are going to have to be held accountable for their complete inability to understand cause and effect when it comes to bail setting.

What is the guy supposed to do, he already called the cops once, the guy gets arrested on 43 counts and turned loose into the public. The judge knowingly let his daughter be exposed to a monster. It's the equivalent of leaving a baby in a pitbull fighting pit. That's the only story here.

So your daughter is in a truck with a pedophile that's already been caught, so you stop him and do what should have been done already. It's not a "crime of passion" its self defense against a broken legal system and keeping your daughter from being further victimized. He was obviously in fear of his life, not knowing what the judicial system would send against his family next.

"Mag dump"

lol

So dramatic

No kidding. Show me a cop in a situation where he was threatened in the dark by a known perpetrator in the act of committing a felony and he fires his weapon and doesn't mag dump on the perp. And immediately reload.

We've all seen those videos of a team of cops unloading their weapons like they are in the battle of Falluja.

Mag dump. Yeah. Shoot until the perp isn't a threat anymore. How fast could an amped up dad unload a mag from a semi-auto into a threat who kidnapped his daughter? 2 seconds? 3? Not much time to determine if the threat was neutralized.

Particularly since he was probably doing the lead dance. As he was ventilated.

Good on ya dad

I understand that he pistol-whipped the corpse. Woudn't that be a misdemeanor desecration of a corpse?

It would be if it had been a real person instead of a pedophile.

I bet the dead POS perv had many victims over all these years especially with his position of authority.

Wonder how many instances were swept under the rug by his buddies in LE. (Pure speculation of course)

Damn shame his deletion didn't happen sooner. There will be a special place in hell for all abusers of the innocent.

He didnt just dump the mag he pistol whipped the **** out of the POS. Crime of passion. No bill.

If you were charged with stalking my 13 year old daughter, got caught, sent to jail, let out on low bail, and I woke up at 1am and found my daughter missing with your POS ass, you're gonna find the **** out what the hell I will do to protect my daughter, just like this low rent ******.

not sure it would have to go further than what I left.

It seems to me that that is pretty much the only thing that they could possibly charge him with, but that charging him with that would be ridiculous.

Circuit Judge Barbara Elmore is a rogue liberal judge protecting criminals. If it goes to trial, the jury will probably exonerate Aaron Spencer because most fathers would have done the same thing if they were in the same situation.

Here is 43CR-24-551: State of Arkansas v Aaron Spencer

https://caseinfonew.arcourts.gov/opad/case/43CR-24-551

There are a number of court documents in the right hand corner.

I'm curious if they use grand juries in Arkansas for things like this. It looks to me like the prosecutor brought the charges without a grand jury. At least, in the few documents i looked at, I didn't see any mention of a grand jury.

Buford Pusser. McNairy County TN. A three movie Walking Tall series was made on his life and portrayed him as a sheriff fighting against the State Line Mob and Dixie Mafia who controlled the gambling, prostitution, and booze distilling along the TN/MS state lines. His wife was supposedly gunned down with him also getting shot by some Dixie Mafia guys.

Her family pushed for years to exhume her corpse for more detailed examination because they thought he did it, a few months ago a local DA announced that they uncovered enough evidence to show that he did it and had he been alive would have been brought to trial for murder.

The county is 91% white. He is not going to jail. At minimum, hung jury.

I think, even in the state of Texas had I have gotten away with shooting that guy. I probably still would've received some punishment for what I would've done to that guy before the police got there.

Old school norse bloody body hanging from a tree type stuff.

I think you're right. The judge is bad enough, but here's what I don't quite get - the prosecution's failure to apply some discretion. I get it - they must think that it wasn't self-defense but was instead vigilante justice. But it's not - if a known pedo kidnaps a girl, your own daughter, and you are attempting to stop the pedo, it's not vengeance - it's protecting the child. Why doesn't the prosecution understand that and understand that they will never get a conviction as you pointed out.

The fact that it was literally a car chase after him to get his 14 y/o daughter would imply imminent danger. I think the defense rips this to shreds

This happened in the good ol boy part of Arkansas. Yes, most all of my state is that way but Lonoke County is basically just farm country. There's nobody in the state that is cool with this not being over with already. If it drags on much longer, they'll just take it to the state Supreme Court and he'll walk. He's also getting plenty of financial support from donors to beat this. The judge is gonna need to go into witness protection after this. It's pathetic.

Very much a good ol' boy part. There's a Remington ammunition factory right there. I drove by that place many times growing up. It's a huge duck and deer hunting area. Rice, soybeans, and cotton farms are everywhere you look. A very conservative place.

Saw a video about this case popup on my instagram. Did a google search for an update and came across this gem...thought it was worth bumping this thread.

https://katv.com/news/local/what-happened-to-the-dash-cam-key-evidence-missing-ahead-of-spencer-trial

SD card of the dash cam in the sexual predators truck magically goes missing huh, who woulda thunk it. Just a good ol fashioned whoopsie daisy by the lead detective to lose the most crucial piece of evidence in the whole case.

Apparently Aaron Spencer is running for sheriff in the county. Would love to be there for his first day in the office if he wins (has to get a not guilty verdict first)

Link to their legal fund is below. State is fighting dirty.

Will either be Jury Nullification or a Pardon by Gov. Sanders. The Judge should be fired or impeached or tarred and feathered etc.
