I forget where I heard the discussion that the TXSE might be much more friendly to companies at the expense of less shareholder protections. Not good for investors.

Not sure but it apparently has higher standards than the NASDAQ. They are going to start with dual listed companies on the NYSE.

What he is talking about is also why talk of a national divorce would fail are wrong. "Capital goes where it is treated well" -- the new conservative nation that formed could become a super-Singapore very quickly. Especially if it prioritized capital over social fringe concerns.
