Pretty sure the friends family and employees of Roland Bieany ( Trump Burger owner ) who are citizens did not think he was going to be deported and that deportation a would focus on the worst of the worst

Roland not exactly a model citizen and seems to have found himself in some hostile business dealings. He also tried to gain lawful status via a fraudulent marriage.

So just because a career con-man takes advantage of a name he has no rights to in order to sell burgers does not excuse his repetititive law breaking.

He has to go back. To Lebanon. He can sell Trump Fallafels

I don't care. If he's illegal, he's illegal. There's no "my illegal" or "your illegal."

We have laws. Adios.

Insurrectionist do what insurrectionist do. They build nothing and destroy everything, just to make political gains.

Yea pretty sure this isn't the "win" you think it is. It's binary, if he's illegal he's illegal.

I now understand this Pritzker guy's obsession with the far left.

This is James Pritzker who calls himself Jennifer

It explains a lot

"We're going to turn this red Prius into a soup kitchen!"

I don't think this is a good thing. Seems that he was working for the public good.

What other laws do you think law enforcement officers should be allowed to break without consequence?

Rules for thee, not for me, right?

Bojovic??? What is Trump doing??? That doesn't sound like a brown person name. Isnt all this border enforcement supposed to just get rid of all the brown people?

Well, according to the law, it's supposed to remove anyone who is here illegally.

Checked this thread again and I see several responses to my comments. But I'll respond to this one. With a general statement.

I'm a big rule follower, and in general I think that laws should be followed. On that note, I think that removing illegal aliens that aren't contributing to our society is a positive. You shouldn't be able to walk across a border and then be a taker for the rest of your life.

I also think that there needs to be a sound basis for our laws, and that quite often there are conflicting or contradictory requirements set by different laws, agencies, and levels of government. I haven't had time to research this guys' situation beyond the posted tweet, but it appears to me that he falls in that contradictory bucket. He passed a background check, was hired by a government agency, was given a gun and a mandate to keep the peace and enforce the law. He's was also doing a difficult job serving the public that most don't want to do.

I understand that he was also in violation of federal immigration law that, prior to this administration wasn't being strictly enforced.

Put all that together and that's why I land on this not being a good thing.

All that said I appreciate the debate here. I like seeing both sides of an argument.

Thats where your post should have ended.

The sounds basis for our immigration laws is that a nation without borders is not a nation at all. The sound basis for enforcing them is that a nation without laws is not a nation.

There is nothing extreme or extraordinary about our immigration laws. They're reasonable and they should be followed. The rule of law has been the major difference between us and the rest of the world since our founding.
