nothing to see here- because the left wing media tells me it was just a "drunken" decision and he didn't know the Totenkopf SS insignia is related to the Nazis.

Just a coincidence he is viciously anti-Israel the last two years!

a coincidence!

Genevieve McDonald, Platner's former campaign director, who resigned last week,

suggested Tuesday that the candidate must have known about the image's origins.

"Graham has an antisemitic tattoo on his chest. He's not an idiot, he's a military history buff," she wrote in a post on Facebook.

"Maybe he didn't know it when he got it, but he got it years ago and should have had it covered up because he knows damn well what it means."

McDonald, a former state representative, blamed the "D.C. consultant class" for the public relations disaster that could cost Democrats the Senate election.

"The vault is open for the GOP to crush any ****ing dreams we had in the general," she wrote.

That first picture just looks like something take for reference from the ADL website.

We don't know what the actual tattoo looks like, nor am I inclined to want to see it.

Biggest takeaway is that those in politics are bottom of the barrel people. Outstanding young people go to work, have no desire for the political mess. A young person who has volunteered and helped poor, gave his own money to charity with no expectation of return and has always done the right thing , would be ridiculed if he ran as a democrat, and demonized if he put a R by his name.
Politicians historically have been scoundrels, but now we don't vote them out, or rather those wanting something for nothing, keep them in office. The graft that used to trickle down to the poorest voters to help them, now stays in D.C.

If it was just a "drunken decision", why has he not gone and gotten it either removed or covered up once he supposedly learned it was a Nazi symbol?

Well he was in his 20s when he got it, and last week JD Vance said Nazi stuff is ok for young men that age so nothing to see here…
In all seriousness, BOTH parties should stand together against Nazi sympathizers. If you have Nazi tattoos, a swastika flag in your office, claim to have a "nazi streak", claim Hitler was right, talk about sending people to gas chambers/ovens then you should be unfit for office. It is super simple.

it's breathtaking the hypocrisy from the leftist politicians such as Crazy Bernie and the Pod Save America idiots

literally calling Musk a Nazi, and Trump a Nazi..

but then defending a guy with a literal Nazi tattoo.

I mean really, you can't make this @#$#$ up!!

Should help Susan Collins win again in Maine.

When you got a tattoo that would make Himmler jealous, and do nothing to get rid of it, then you deserve everything you get when exposing your preferences.

It should help Collins, unless the Maine Democrats wise up and pick someone else.

Their governor would be far more preferable to this piece of garbage.

This country's fascination with "Nazis" is astounding. I use quotes because I love to read about WWII history having had two grandfather's that fought in each theater. I think I've read every Patton biography published. This isn't that though. This is an uneducated generation just making up boogey men trying to use the latest buzzword. Wtf is wrong with people these days glorifying it or throwing the term around and making it meaningless?

It absolutely should. I hope she wins with close to 100% as this guy has shown he is unfit for office.

It has been useful to the Democrat Party for generations to refer to their opposition as Nazis. I think that label has been applied to every Republican candidate since the end of World War II excepting Eisenhower (Calling Ike a Nazi would have led to an even greater beatdown than they got in 1952 and 1956.).

Ironically, their growing acceptance of Hamas and raging anti-Semites exposed them and lessened the strength of one of their election-period go-to tag lines.

EDIT: I was wrong; the Democrats started using this against Republicans during World War II...

I knew two politicians in college. One was a spoiled ass rich kid who called me cheap for not buying premium gas for someone else's car when it was my turn to buy gas on a road trip and the other was will hurd. I agree wholeheartedly with your statement.

Additional bolds for emphasis.

No way he didn't know. No way he just did this on a bender. No way this "oysterman" didn't keep it because he was in sympathy with those he knew wore it with pride before he decided to try it on permanently.

The proper response to this is the one made by Mrs. McDonald.

The typical Democrat response, unfortunately, has already been issued by Senators Sanders, Heinrich, Gallego and Murphy.

Yikes. I was thinking it might be a skull tattoo that bore a resemblance to the SS-Totenkopf, but if that picture is accurate, he went whole hog.

Meh, I doubt the man is a member of the SS or even knew what he was doing.

To me a tattoo is a poor life choice anyway, guess he doubled down on poor choice, probably through ignorance. Maybe he is just a Frederick the Great fan.

If the GOP cannot win the 2026 midterms there is total incompetence.

the democrat party is running a LITERAL SOCIALIST MARXIST in New York City, an Attorney General in Virginia who sent texts to murder the children of his political opponents, and a guy with a literal Nazi Einsatzgruppen tattoo who used to work for Blackwater.

come on!!

But these are OUR Nazis.

It's (D)ifferent.

great points

you just know if the GOP had called Obama and his merry band of idiots "plantation slaves"

the entire world would have been appalled.

but calling Trump and Republicans "Nazis"- well it's (D) ifferent!

he is a former US military enlisted man who served overseas for Blackwater.

you can bet your @ss he knew EXACTLY what that tattoo means!

but keep defending the guy who has had a Nazi tattoo for 20 years, and hates the Jews.

Given that he is a democrat, it is probably a Nazi symbol, but here is what Gemini says are modern uses:

Later and modern use
  • Hate groups: The Totenkopf is still used as a hate symbol by neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups because of its association with the SS.
  • Modern military: Despite the stigma, some military units continue to use the symbol, often inheriting it from their historical predecessors. Examples include the Royal Lancers of the British Army, the Estonian Kuperjanov Infantry Battalion, and reconnaissance units within the U.S. Marine Corps.
  • Modern culture: The skull and crossbones design is also used in popular culture and fashion, which can sometimes diminish the symbol's serious connotations.

But by all means you are fit for office if you wear a Che t-shirt, he was nothing but a freedom loving mass murderer.

Amazing the left is trying to find a standard to live by when in reality they have none.

"Hey, look at this cool spinny thing I got tattooed on me last night!"

"Dude, that's a swastika."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you should probably get that removed or cover it up."

10 years later...

"Hey, this swastika was just a dumb decision, just like the decision not to do anything about it for the last 10 years. You should elect me as your senator because I'm not a racist Republican."
