There's a strong case to be made that hooker Jill f'd them and double charged. I wouldn't be surprised if she threatened exposure and continuously reminded Joe he was the man.

My grandfather's Alzheimers was a few years ahead of my grandmothers. She was in his ear to remind him who to be pissed at that they weren't allowed to drive.
