What is a country? It's not just land. It's people, with culture. The land can affect the culture, for sure, as it weaves into traditions. But pride of place is more than the place, it's the people AND the place.
Small town life. Football. Sunday church. Local artisans. Farming. Livestock. Music. Food.
Each state has its own culture, or many cultures. But each state weaves into the fabric of the other states, forming a Union that is a melding of cultures, all pursuing the vision of freedom and prosperity. OR IT USED TO.
Then comes the dumping of a massive body of foreign culture into a culture. They work. They survive. Their children are woven into the fabric of the culture they join. They maintain their own, but engage in the greater culture. Post Vietnam, this great culture used hard work and a desire for freedom to ADD to this nation. Some of their children even won national awards playing football in college.
Now comes a massive dumping of a completely different culture, or cultures, into this country. They also flee "persecution" but what's the difference? This different culture doesn't want to weave into the fabric of this great nation. They want to be self-contained, until, as we have seen in Minnesota and Michigan, they can get enough power to change the fabric of their community to act like them, be like them, do like them. If YOU, American, are not interested, "You Are Not Welcome Here", in your own country.
They do not care for our history. They do not care for our way of life. The things that have made this country great. They don't pledge allegiance to the flag. No, they want their way of life, the one they fled, to be established anew. You must prepare and eat our foods the way we want them prepared. You must avoid doing the things we don't like. You must bend to OUR way of life. You've invited us in, now do what WE say.
They don't want our country, and its culture and history, they want our land. They want our commerce. They want our free laws so they can do what they want, and force us to do it as well.
No. We can't allow it. We can't allow it, at all.
