IRS agents will be required to watch pornographic content on OnlyFans to determine if the content meets the "no tax on tips" law included in Donald Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill.

Should be pretty easy to enforce since all of the money flows through OF or whatever cam site the person is using to host their content. This isn't the stripper picking up bills off the stage when the song ends.

So are they tips, gifts, or fee for service? I think that income in that site is individual contract work between the online virtual prostitute and the creepers so it should be subject to iRS filing and taxes if it is a taxable amount. I'm pretty sure if the online John's don't agree to pay a certain amount up front, they don't get to see the show.

No worries, pretty soon AI will put most of them out of work or seriously dent their incomes.

My understanding is A LOT of it is shy losers paying for chat and/or personalized content. I recall an interview with a former OF girl that quit because she had too many subs that wanted chatting but it was all across too many time zones.

It makes the already-complicated tax code even more complicated, creates the need for even more government intrusion into private affairs, and creates an incentive for companies to further underpay their workers in favor of asking for tips. And the tipping system is really unfortunate in that it's a system where the greediest and sleaziest among us pay the least for their services.

Bottom line is we need to be simplifying the tax system - not complicating it.

Agreed. It's really dumb. It also removes even more people from the tax rolls putting even more burden on those of us that have to carry the bottom half of the country.

Exactly.

The "no tax on tips" and "no tax on overtime" and "no tax on social security" were all gimmicks and none of them came to be, at least not as the name implies and they still refer to them by those misleading names.

I think that means nothing. What's the content? Nudes only aren't going to be ruled porn. We both know that. I've never been there but I'm guessing there is content that isn't X rated.
