Not uncommon, and not just with her. Many people will choose to listen to someone for good reasons, but then fail to "leave the room" when they later go off the rails because by that point they have "bought in".

Basically, people are like sheep. Or dogs. Except they train themselves to be led around by others. I would imagine there are entire marketing courses on how easily manipulated people are.

I've heard several podcasters mention her, and how she knows exactly what she's doing to get clicks/viewers. But how on earth are there people who actually buy into this? And if they fall for it once...how do they continue to fall for it every other week?
