$11m should at least be good enough for a Presidential Half Price Books.

But seriously...he is the most popular President ever. He got 81M votes, the most ever. How could it be that no one likes him and won't donate to his library? Unless.....

Whatever they do, we don't want more of that

Been to several of them.

Harry Truman - Berlin Airlift info and displays, his office, Margaret's piano that fell through the White House floor and triggered the complete renovation. His home was nearby and open for tours

Eisenhower - boyhood home, WWII vehicles and artifacts

LBJ - Presidential limo, been too long so I don't recall more

Bush 41 - TBM Avenger, section of Berlin Wall, Oval Office and AF! reproductions

LBJ was buried on his ranch, the other three are buried at the libraries

I am retiring (again) in April of 2026. The months between Aggie Baseball and Football will be my time to travel in These United States. Presidential Libraries are on my list.

There is way too much to see in just the Lower 48 than can be seen in a retirement lifetime. No need to spend my money in a country that hates us.
When the truth comes out, do not ask me how I knew.

As an aside - are presidential libraries becoming outdated anyway? They are supposed to be centers to "store the papers" for future researchers. But almost everything is digital nowadays so "papers" mean almost nothing.

They are now just museums.

Just put a couple pics in a hallway of an autopen and people running over the border. Pretty much sums up those dark days.

I don't rule out overseas travel, but I agree with you. Wife and I love history, museums, etc. We visited one Presidential Library enjoyed it, and began adding them to our itinerary while on other trips. Lots of history and unique artifacts.

Have also been to Mount Vernon, Monticello, Andrew Johnson historic site, Greenville, TN, LBJ Ranch.

Presidential Libraries are a great way of studying the history of their times.

There's no influence left to buy from sleepy joe.

He's been **** out of the bottom end of Washington. A fitting end to a +50 year career epitomizing everything that's wrong with politics.

I have even less sympathy for Doctor lol Jill.
Ol' Sleepy Joe should have diverted 10% of the 10% he was taking in while in office to fund his library.

He would have had plenty of money...

If I could cut and paste a picture of my concept of a Biden Presidential library…..it would look like the following.

Centerpiece: a semi filled open air vegetable .

A sign above says Presidential Lie-brary of Joe Biden.

Somewhere in the background Joan Pierre whatever her name is stating something that is a lie while shucking corn….holding the cob in an awkward way.

Hunter Biden would looking for his stash, mumbling and twitching….frantically looking for something.

Joe Biden would be a dot somewhere followed by a dotted line tracing his erratic wondering path from the liebrary.

Jill would be in front of a microphone staring at a tv camera answering questions about joes cognitive condition….

There is alot of detail that an AI generator might be able to come up with.

There is no honor among thieves. This why so many of they stay in Congress for a lifetime. Once they are out of office, their usefulness is gone and so is the money they get for influence

In reading about this, I learned that Obama's library will not contain any records from his presidency. It will have a basketball court though.

Thus, I'm not sure what the point of it is anymore.

This is what happens when our elders don't have their children to act as a support group. Instead, Jill sold him to the highest bidder & Obama bent him over and rode that for another four years. It also didn't help that Joe was a sleezeball.

I searched but could not find any link where the Biden library is soliciting donations. I would really like to have that link handy to send in reply to people who praise Biden's record. I am tempted to have some "I donated" stickers made and stick them to the bumper of double-parked cars.

The article says that it's going to be in College Park Maryland and that they have raised a total of $4 million. They won't even be able to buy land for that amount.

You could probably raise more money from people who are angry at Biden to build a library that had a section dedicated to COVID lockdowns and the shots, the open border, the Afghan withdrawal debacle, and the pardons. Memorializing all the crap he did so that it would not be forgotten isn't a bad idea,

Actually this is a fantastic idea. The RNC could fundraise/organize/build the thing. Seriously Trump might get on board with this.

With little to no effort and using 100% facts, it could house room after room of all the failures this puppet administration were responsible for to our great country. The first room could list all of the commies behind the scenes that actually made all of the decisions and "ran" the country (into the ground).

Where do I donate?

Come to think of it, Trump did offer to pay off Kamala's $44M campaign debt as a goodwill gesture. It would be completely appropriate for him to build the library that Joe could not afford to build.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/13/us/politics/biden-presidential-library-delaware.html

Quote:

In filings with the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Biden's library foundation revealed that it had not received any new donations in 2024, the final year of his presidency. The foundation was instead seeded entirely with $4 million left over from his 2021 inauguration.

Quote:

Mr. Biden's foundation told the I.R.S. this year that it expected to bring in just $11.3 million, total, by the end of 2027. That would be far below the pace set by other recent presidents, and far less than the $200 million that Mr. Biden's aides say they want to raise eventually.

LOL!!!!
Quote:

John Morgan, a longtime Democratic donor who was one of Mr. Biden's top bundlers, said he would not give "a penny" to the former president's library, citing poor treatment from Mr. Biden's staff.

"The Biden staff, they ruined any type of good library for him," Mr. Morgan said. "He'll be lucky to have a bookmobile."

Because he's a vegetable.
Quote:

Aides to Mr. Biden declined to make him available for an interview.

BY FAR, the most popular politician in our nation's history, shattering total popular vote records of obama x2 and trump x3, as evidenced by the "news" stating factually over and over again that the mass-mailed election of 2020 was "the most secure election ever" and that despite no one attending his campaign events, he was just beloved by all.

Not a surprise and what a Fn joke. Biden spent half a century in DC, riddled with corruption and absent of any real accomplishments whatsoever, got elected as a vegetable and let his Marxist interns destroy this country with massive spending, a wide open border, new wars, and divisiveness as they made him vilify half the entire citizenry.
