"Our strategy is centred around recruiting a skilled workforce that meets our unique business needs and hiring the most qualified candidates."

For me to determine whether my BS meter is justified in going off, I'd like to know the number of white males Fedex has hired (or not) in 2025.

Fed ex = 400k US employees, this is rounding error…go get outraged over something else

So in 2022 (after a large contract) Fed Ex hired H1B workers. In a totally unrelated story Fed ex laid off some dead weight. Got it.

Seems common for Indians in management and C-suite to go this route.

A job paying 100-120k is NOT a "highly skilled" job requiring an H1B. This is 100% abuse and should be shut down.

Is this why FedEx can't accurately update you on when your package will be delivered? My glasses are supposed arrive yesterday between 8:30-10:30, 10:30-12:30, 2:30-4:30; 6:30-8:30, and today between 8:30-10:30, 10:30-12:30 and as of now sometime before 2:30.

I'm worried that my driver, Vladimir (according to the app), is driving the same route today he took yesterday and won't make it here today, either. At this rate I might get them by Saturday.

Well, they're using FedEx's own system. Having worked with their ISPs for about a year, I honestly have no idea how the hell anything gets from point A to point B. There would be rolling cages full of **** that wasn't deliverable for one reason, or another, and that cage would be stationary... for weeks.

The interesting dichotomy is that no matter how much an Indian in power hates people below them, they hate Indians below them more than anyone else.

When I lived in Boerne, FedEx was extremely inferior to UPS. The FedEx trucks were always dirty, the delivery drivers apparently had no uniform standards, and it seemed very DEI heavy with driver selection, which in the grand scheme of things isn't all that big of a deal, but what really made them suck was they skipped my house several times, lost a couple of packages, and seemed to have played soccer with a lot of my packages. I have an Engel cooler that they crushed the corner of somehow, I called Engel to do a return and they gave me a 50% discount due to shipping damage so I kept it. But clearly stated on the packaging was how not to hand truck the cooler or stack it and they did the complete opposite. Also finding packages FedEx dropped off was like going on an Easter egg hunt.

The 400k employees is an overstatement. If you look at corporate jobs (IT, management, HR, legal), the number of employees is more like 30,000-50,000. Now we're talking about a bigger slice of the pie, and that's why entire neighborhoods in Memphis are being taken over by Indians, and entire elementary school classrooms are Indian.

Don't be so quick to dismiss, and open up your eyes. This is happening in communities in Texas, California, and even Memphis!

Trump needs to fix this H1B **** today. It's a much bigger problem than even most conservatives understood it to be.

"Don't get outraged. The water isn't boiling," said the chef to the frog.

well grow some balls and jump out of the pot then...geez, if I employ 400k in the US, a couple hundred is nothing to get hysterical about plus FedEx offerred very nice termination packages...you guys are the same complaining about Musk as he emplos 500k in the US and has made thousands of everyday employees millionaires

So it's okay to fire American workers and replace them with lower paid H1B1 immigrandians, just as long as I you give the Americans a nice pat on the head and a cookie on the way out the door?

America is full. We need extremely few immigrant work visas. And we certainly don't need any immigrants to do jobs that Americans were already working.

There is zero evidence that happened in this case.

He is doing decently. He is treading a fine line.

Stop all H1s and a completely predictable, "unexpected" outcome is that every one of these jobs and more will move overseas. This is the fastest short-term fix from a corporate perspective and this is playing out extensively in Tech right now.
That is a far bigger issue. We are being tossed from the frying pan into the fire

Trump instead needs to go after the companies? >N% of overseas employees?
No government contracts for you.
Lay off employees after a government contract? Contract is rescinded.

There are other carrot and stick options too.

Conservatives are a pretty clueless bunch who think they are very clever. Why? Because they are basically cultists and follow sell-out paid-for radio hosts like Limbaugh and others.

See... the corporations are crooked (as I have been exposing here for years). They hate America and Americans and want to get rich off our backs. So they hire these radio show guys and pay them to talk up corporations and business and fool the naive people who call themselves "conservatives". I know many such and many are on this board as well. So these people start to parrot what Limbaugh types tell them and spread the view around. The corps then hire H1B Indians and fire Americans and the same conservatives welcome it and say "free market!" and "we are capitalists!".

In effect, the corps spread their influence and create a whole army of naive people who speak against their own interest and for the benefit of the corporations and justify the CEO making $100000000000000000000 bonuses while firing Americans and hiring H1Bs and outsourcing. You can see that in the "Tax the Rich" thread, a bunch of lolpoors are arguing that insanely rich must not be taxed more and they all have the exact same talking point! They claim "it won't help our 38T debt if the CEO is taxed more and give me some bs numbers around it. But then why am I taxed at all? I am rich but not insanely rich and my tax money means nothing to America as well. No answer.

Magical, isn't it? That is the scam that was happening for decades using clueless cultists.

Good. Do it and Trump will add a tax of 25% on these jobs. Let them outsource all the jobs to India and Trump will add brackets and increase the tax. Fun fun.

There is no getting away from this. No clever trickery. The only question is whether Trump can be paid off. But he is almost 80 and has enough money so I don't think he can be corrupted like our previous Presidents. Let's see.
