I don't disagree with that current take on Newsom. Other than the history of the early candidates flushing out early, I think the turd that is Gavin and Cali can only be polished so much.

And if not, Gavin is very very beatable. Beshears or Shapiro likely stacks up better to generic R candidate.

Just my thoughts. We are quite a ways out.

Good thing Newsome has had a year to build some retention ponds for future fire fighting... oh wait
