Maybe they simply forbade Somali non-citizens in Minneapolis from charging medical procedures to Medicaid.

That would just about account for that savings.

To be fair, you didn't post any link or any direction other than a single sentence with a single number. If you're going to yell at other posters to basically "Google it"... at least put some real info in the thread you started.

I found it. It's from doge.gov, and it currently sits at $214 billion. Those numbers have always been suspect.

The problem is the DOGE team was good at finding unnecessary expenses like unutilized software licenses but none of them knew the operations of the orgs they were sent to help. The real savings aren't going to be found in waste but in bureaucratic bloat.
