It has pretty much been confirmed that the Epstein thing was a honey pot. So, we gotta know this stuff goes on all the time. We have only heard about Epstein. There are also a lot of closeted homosexuals in government and people with things in their past. What percentage of our government do you think is compromised by blackmail?

I find myself saying that about quite a few things over the last 5 years. I went from supporting the Iraq War to knowing it was a bald faced lie. I thought there was an ultimate distinction between the parties only to learn the majority of it is social issues to keep us distracted - we don't discuss economic politics any more and ultimately it is always spend more. Whether they pay for it via taxation or inflation, they will spend the money without much of a concern of us the taxpayers. They don't listen to us, so somebody has their ear.

And how do you think that J. Edgar Hoover stayed in power as FBI director from 1924 until he died in 1972.

Hint: It was not due to his amazing ability to fight crime.

And those files will never see the light of day if they have not been destroyed already.

I missed the hard evidence Epstein was manipulating the powerful and wealthy directly with access to underage girls, and not just using them to climb the social ladder of creepy rich pervs for increased access for himself. I want to see the financial forensic data, which should reveal the truths.

I'd guess close to 100%. I've lived a pretty clean life, but put a powerful enough microscope on it and you could find some things I regret. Now threaten to publicly shine a light on them and things get tricky quickly

That's the reality for every politician in the modern world. The people running the show can find anything they need to get what the want

You have to remember that one of Trump's original core positions was "drain the swamp". This is a euphemism for ending corruption. Our government is absolutely corrupt. Both parties. Blackmail is just one of the many aspects.

This. Hoover had vast resources at his fingertips and was unfettered by oversight. He had his own enemies list, not political enemies, per se but any threats to his personal power. Why he hated JFK and particularly RFK, when his brother made him AG with nominal supervisory control over the FBI. RFK tried to assert that power, enraging him. Hoover was thrilled when JFK was assassinated because that removed two threats, POTUS and AG RFK.

You're never going to see it and that's the real problem and frankly the real proof that it's the correct answer. Since he died we've had both parties occupy the White House and neither of them has done much to expose what really happened. The Democrats have been so desperate to pin this on Trump yet when they had all the information they did nothing with it. Why? Either it's not bad for Trump or it's worse for their party. Conversely Trump told Napolitano before leaving office in 2020 that if he'd seen what Trump had seen he would have covered it up as well.

There's not much else that's explains what we've seen. At this point they're all guilty and it's a massive coverup is the most logical answer.

I think realistically its gotta be around 30%. It could probably be higher, but I don't think the other 70% are all that important to spend time on. Control the top 30% and you control them all.
