Amen. Cap gain taxes limit your upside but you're fully exposed to the downside.

Add to that that you get to pay tax on the total of all your net capital gains, whereas if you have a net capital loss (losses in excess of gains), you get to deduct only $3.000. What pencil dicked geek dreamed that up?
