What a load of malarkey. If this passes, public school children in New York State will be required to learn all about the alleged "insurrection" (that is, the DC protest) on Jan. 6.

It almost surely will not be even-handed in its approach. It almost surely will be "Orange Man bad" screeching and attempts to indoctrinate young skulls full of mush into future Democrat voters.

The founders would have mocked us for our Jan 6th response after multiple coup attempts against a sitting president and weaponized federal agencies openly engaging in election tampering/interference in favor of their preferred candidate, subverting the will of the American people. Then add the fact that we are basically taxed half of our earnings and our government squanders so much of it abroad and puts millions of migrants on the perpetual teet.

My daughter in law told me not one of their many friends who have young children are sending them to public school. Not one.
They are all either homeschooling or sending to private Christian schools. In fact, my grandson is going to private Christian school and they're all very happy with the decision despite the cost.

There were a number of districts in the big cities in TX that didn't go back f2f quickly.

I had a friend who was there with her husband and children.At one point her son said, "this is not our group we're following." They got separated from their group and their son could tell they were in the wrong company. I believe there were Antifa and FBI people in the crowds who had a different agenda.

I've shared before but one of my best friends caught his son's Austin ISD teacher trying to convince his son that he was confused about his gender. This was during COVID when things were online.

Walked into the room, saw it happening, shut the computer off, pulled his kid from school, put house up for sale, and moved to East Texas. Made a killing on his house too because it was during the absurd housing run up in Austin. People buying homes unseen and bidding way over.

The Left makes like Jan. 6th, the Republic was on the verge of collapse.

The 2020 election was going to be certified that day... 100%.

It wasn't an insurrection, it was a protest which became a juvenile riot in some areas.

Public schools don't even teach the truth and reality of the Civil War…….
